These energy threads remind me strongly of tzi-tzit.

Since biblical times traditional Jewish men, and sometimes women, wear tzi-tzit on their garments, threads braided and fringed according to directions outlined in the 1st testament teaching given thru Moses.

The thread is also a constant reminder of being faithful to oneself, to others as well as to the Ultimate Engineer of the universe.

The body needs to be charged and recharged daily with energy to remain vibrant. When through overeating one does not use the excess energy, there is every chance of his becoming ill or sick. Hence eat within daily bodily needs or even a little less to remain healthy. Women live longer because of the added renewal of energy following body's systemic process. Likewise old age needs recharging body and mental energies. When the limit is reached, it just gives up.

It's a form of energising exercise to be in tune with each other. I remember once my father told me to rub the beak of an erratic hen on the doorstep and surprisingly it never left the surroundings of our house to lay eggs! Magic you call it. In fact it is scientific. By charging a nonconductor of electricity you help it to keep its own static charge until it loses its charge with time. That's why it is renewed anually.

He speaks only about energizing of the thread by the Guru. what about the sacred chants associated with it? The sacred thread is just invoking the inner spirit in the individual and by properly performing the sandhi every day the person's awareness can be steadily maintained and he will have a balanced view of life.

If your so powerfull and all knowing that you know how to exist off other people's energies and engineer your own health why would you need the assitance of a tiny little thread?

@closetome im pretty sure the thread itself is symbolic of the connection to the other person.He doesn't make the claim that the string has any inherent power.

bcoz you & me don't comprehend this dimension experientially it..is possible that .there could be many many aspects to it..which could have their own significance ..Newaz i hope u get the point..
