Poe's stories are epic. You should search on youtube The Raven unofficial soundtrack by Kristen Lawrence. Can't wait for the movie and cd to come out!
good idea, but way too many pictures too quickly changing and too many different styles. the guitar is too much as well. Poe needs focus. this upload makes me think of an director who does not trust the words only although he should. Poe is great enough.
@Scar5999 I'm trying to memorize it to recite in 7th grade this year. Last year I memorized and recited "Annabel Lee" and it was the longest one in the class. I got the biggest applause, mostly just because everyone was shocked I could memorize so much.
THE CELTS, FORGOTTEN AND LOST, WITH DANCES AND BEINGS, FANTASTIC SPIRITS NOT IS KNOWN, THEN A SUBSCRIBER FIELD FOR THE FANTASIA AND THE TERRORISM OF THE WRITERS, I DO NOT I LIKE SAY "ESCRIBIDORES" IS A WORD THAT IS FALSE AND STRANGE... @haheso2007 No, in the third to last stanza the speaker asked the bird if Lenore was in Heaven. Raven said, "Nevermore." The speaker tried to make the raven leave, but it wouldn't. Then he implied that his soul was trapped in the raven's shadow upon his floor, and would be lifted nevermore.
Hate to self promote, but I would really love if some of you guys checked out my poetry and gave me your thoughts. Everything on my channel is written and read by me, personally. I don't have much work up yet, but that will change soon.
What's with the anime shit? For god's sake Edgar Allan Poe wrote novels and poems not manga. I know that there's very little anime in here, but still it sucks.
Ok so... idioticly i will tell it to you: he was sitting by his picture of his dead wife and then someone knocked and he saw noone and then a raven came through the window and kept annoying him by saying ''nevermore'' and then edgar relized that his life is empty without his wife
its a poem about a lomly guy who is being depressed by his wifes death and a raven came in and it sat on a bust of a greek god poe asked the raven is my wife in heven or hell and the raven said never more
The raven is a metaphor for the narrator's descent into madness. He's been driven insane by sorrow after his wife's death. It starts off just by hearing things, then he sees the raven, and it says "never more", which he perceives as to be mocking him - that he will never more see his lost love, even if he was to die he would not join her in the afterlife. It's not supposed to be a literal narrative.
EXCELLENT INTERPRETATION OF ONE OF THE MIGHTIEST POEMS OF ALL TIME (CREATED BY THE GREATEST HORROR GENIUS OF ALL TIME) BY ONE OF THE BEST ACTORS OF ALL TIME. Thankyou SydniTheFox.
You should all put this video on full screen mode, after having smoked some MJ, and put the volume up loud, late at night by yourself. With the lights out. And enjoy. Nevermore...
you know what's crazy but true?? I'm related to edgar allen poe. My mom is a poe. No joke. Hes my great great great great great a bunch of greats, uncle. apparently.
yes this poem is quite wonderous. i have to momorize it for a shcool project. It is intresting if you really think about the words and ponder the idea of this poem. it is questionable how a man can take the story of a raven being at his window and take it make it his own make it scary yet intresting make it memorable yet complicated. this is amazing.
Wow this was creapy! I loved it. You did an awesome job on making it more evil as the pictures went on. It's my favorite one. Didn't really like the Anime but I understand what the purpose of it was. In art form it was excellent. Thank you!
@SydniTheFox lololol yea it was a SNL skit with christopher walken where he is tryin to direct the recording of a band and will ferrel is the cowbell guy and the band doesnt want the cowbell but christopher walken is like "i could of used a little more cowbell" (:

the background sound effects are disturbing.
the background music is unrelated.
the reverb on the vocals is out of place.
separately the vocals are great, the sfx are great, the images are great. put together they are a cacophony of discord
