I just want to say after watching this again after a while, and enjoying it even more, that the music is actually played at a pretty creepy note, almost more so than the actualy movie lol, and the outfit you're wearing looks almost identicle to the one Janet Leigh wears in the real movie. Same color maybe? Same style? I'm curious haha.
@SonnyJamesJefferson I am glad you enjoyed this again! The outfit was put together with whatever I could find - I have tons of vintage clothes, but her outfit was so plain nothing I had worked (except for Lila, she wore cooler more obviously dated stuff), so it's just a pale gray sweater and a navy skirt and a belt. The watch was made out of paper, I think, since I couldn't find a ladies' vintage one large enough!
@SonnyJamesJefferson Well, thank you for the info! I think that actual sweater and skirt from the original movie were purple, as they were depicted in some colorized photos, but I'm not sure. Maybe you should do a Rear Window parody, I can see you pulling that off lol. Ever seen it?
@SonnyJamesJefferson Yes, I have, I can imagine all SORTS of odd things he would see when looking through his binoculars (sort of like when Norman peeks at Marion through the wall)...I would have to get Grace Kelly's suit and/or gown down PERFECTLY as there are so many Grace fans who would be let down if I didn't!
Mate this is fucking hilarious!!! I pissed myself at everything but especially where Norman is boring Marion to death about his Mother and she is doing her lipstick, her hair and blowing bubbles!!! Thankyou for making me laugh so much!! More please!!!! Psycho II with you as Meg Tilly or Vera Miles!!!! EXCELLENT!!!
@kamelion7 Thanks! Blowing bubbles was fun, I used my mom's house for the parlour set (when mum and dad were out of town), and totally rearranged the furniture, but put it ALL back and they were never the wiser! : D
Haaaa ha ha ha! Indeed, that would have been an excellent gag! She of course would be slightly disgusted and promptly remove it. OR NOT, as she is so indifferent and bored by Norman she might just keep the dang thing on....
LMFAO!!!!! This is too funny! It's awesome! I can't pick my favorite part, this is really great. My favorite Psycho parody. You worked with Anthony Perkins. You're sooo lucky!
PS: You're the best! Can you tell me the name of the song performed by Anthony?
Well, thank you! : D Yes, he was a doll to work with...
He sings a number of things, from "The World is Your Balloon" to "Bye Bye, Baby" to "First Romance" (his dreamiest, I think!). They are either from 45s he did in the era or 2 LPs he later released.
Haha this is a great parody! I was laughing hysterically with the part with "I bet she's sitting around in her bra!" LOL thanks for posting - this is very clever.
Well, thanks -! I will take those as compliments, I guess, I know I don't make the best looking broad, so I suppose I might resemble a car-accident victim, if only I knew who this person was? Monty Clift? LOL, I don't know! Maybe it is better I don't...
