I was there that night, and I could tell you that the majority of the crowd was non-Japanese. It's just a testament to the fact that great music is truly universal.
I've seen a lot of concerts in my life...but as a long time X Japan song, I was almost in tears at this part of the show. You could really tell just how full of emotional Yoshiki was. You could also tell how much they all wished that Hide could have been there to have seen them rock out the USA! I left that show completely satisfied! WE ARE X!
being there, right at that moment, made the waiting in line, the freezing cold at night, the weird comments from passing people, the rude japanese girls and all that other stuff so worth it. i'll never forget that moment, being there, singing along, my best friends in the world right there with me. best night ever. i still cry when i hear the song, just as i did then.
that concert was absolutely awesome! as a long time X Japan fan, when I found out that they were playing in the states, I was going...no questions asked. I believe that everyone that was in attendance left there completely satisfied. as someone else said, it was great to see so many cultures there together enjoying such a great band! music truly is universal. it was a great night!
I'm so glad to see so many people post such moving remarks. I thought maybe I was being a bit too sentimental that night, but after reading these comments I'm glad to know I wasn't alone. ^_^
I was there... had to leave after Endless Rain to catch the bus back to Montreal with my 13 years old nephew. But the evening was memorable anyway. It was awesome to see people from so many cultures, smart and open minded, all sharing this moment. Let's bring even more people next time they tour America. These guys deserve to be big here.
This was such a magical night that I will never forget. This was my first time seeing X Japan live and I have never been so moved at a concert in my life. I really hope they will keep rocking the world!!! I love them so much <3<3<3
I was joking with my friends about crying at this concert, not thinking that any of us really would... but during this, I just couldn't stop. His speech got me going, and then endless rain just sealed the deal. This is the first time I have ever cried at a concert.
I honestly... I'm falling apart here, on the other side of the world. I HATE it when Yoshiki's crying, I hate it! And I hate that hide had to die, it wasn't his time! :( I just want to hug them all, and I can't even imagine how the fans must have felt yesterday. Forever love <3
