Jeremy's changed his tune. The price of the McLaren puts him off, but how about the price of the Veyron? Honestly I don't care how many dislikes I get, the F1 is a better performance machine than the Veyron and it will always be my favorite Supercar of my lifetime!

Look at an article about the F1 and the Veyron, and forget what it says, look at the wording. "Bugatti engineered blah-blah, the engineers of Bugatti blah-blah, engineering pinnacle etc. That the main difference you see, the Veyron was "engineered" to be fast while the F1 was "designed" to be fast. And to be fair cold maths isn't nearly as exciting as a work of art.

@complementamos Naturally aspirated engine. No superchargers, no turbochargers. Unlike the Veyron, which needs a handful of turbochargers to increase the performance, the McLaren doesn't need that, which initially means it is a better performance machine.

@tinaalwayswins IIRC the engine was built by BMW and it initially had 550/560hp but Mclaren decided they needed more power from the engine (increased to 627hp) before the mclaren was sold to the public. or it could just be a typo :o) :p
