Hey man I'm buying a set of Lindy Fralins for my Nashville style tele. I'm putting the Blues special in the neck and bridge. I'm also going to put a Fralin strat pickup in the middle. I was going to put a Blues Special in there too, but do you think there is something better to put in the middle made by Fralin.
Very Cool, I've been looking for a new neck pickup for my 52RI, the current one seems muddy, I like the Bridge, and the neck w/the 52RI bridge, but the neck alone doesn't do it for me. I'm planning on picking up a Fralin Blues Special neck this week. Thats exactly the type of tone I'm looking for.
They have great tone. May I also warmly recommend you talk to Owen at OC Duff? He can build you whatever pickup you need, and his prices are reasonable. He's a great guy, to boot. Also check out Pete Biltoft at VintageVibeGuitars dot com. Not affiliated, but they are great guys. Tell them Mojo from Mojocaster sent ya :)
ive thought about putting a fralin in the back position of my tele and an brad paisley adder pickup in front. what do you think of the back fralin pickup?
Thanks for the kind words, very much appreciated! The pickups in this guitar are Fralin Blues Specials... I think that they fit the look for the guitar perfectly. They're not traditional, and have a bit of an edge to them... she's a keeper :)
