  • Nice video and that's a pretty good deal! But please don't lean on the shaft while starting the strimmer you'll ruin it. I know you have a fractured arm but your freind should have started it really as you should hold it with your left and, and pull the cord with your right hand, that's best for the engine and shaft, and safer as if it revs and the strimmer head turns it won't flick anything up off the floor :]

  • my strimmer does that

  • What a dumbass

  • 1. The reason why that Stihl won't start is 'cause you flooded it. Good job. 2. Putting your knee on the shaft while starting is the WORST possible thing to do.

  • it's not dangerous to start a mower whilst moving but you risk damaging the pull start, which can be a major pain in the arse to fix.

  • A free stihl trimmer DANG

  • i now know i was wrong and it is quite safe ot start a lawnmover in this manner,

  • @jaypauldini..so ure saying wearing p.p.e..if the mower went under you then it would still bloody hurt weather you were wearing boots or not lol..and i normally wear just some ear defenders....

  • can you explain. in no way is it very dangerous starting a mower whilst it is moving. it is no different to when it is running. you are moving it then while the engine is running a lot faster. so again please explain.

  • Ok...well tbh....your watching the wrong channel if you are into that kind of "safty"....if you havent noticed i am a farmer.. and holding a mower stationary while starting it really isnt a priority of mine.

  • @jaypauldini

besides being a safety admiring jerk, youre also very annoying.

stop bitching like a bitch and focus on more important measures.

  • @jaypauldini faggot

  • @jaypauldini Would you stop bragging that you are a professional gardener or something like that, yeah thanks for the safty but people who complain are just annoying like you so next time, just don't worry about them.

  • @jaypauldini he wont go under the mower. the mower is to low to go over him and if he slipped the mower wouldn't be clutched so it WOULDN'T move. quit bitchin

  • my trimmer will do nothing DuDe

  • a stihl strimmer costs a fortune! good freebie there mate

  • not that one thats a shity domestic one

  • god not sure bout the mower but the strimmer u are lucky

  • I'll take the stihl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • FS-38.

  • just clean the fuel tank out and the carb, put it all back together and it be fine...mine did the same

  • wat motor is on the mower?

  • some cheap shit copy of a briggs.

  • my mower sucks. u keep pulling and itll take an hour 2 start., either or she dies like urs.

  • I always let mine run until red hot before adjusting the choke.

  • yeah yank the shit out of that lawnmower

  • ur mower may have had water in the gas

  • Looks like you need to adjust the idleing speed on the mower & strimmer.. It`ll keep them going for longer

  • yeah, open the carb right up like i did and it will rev high as fuck!

  • dumb...you flooded a trimmer....set choke 3times pull then set choke off then pull 1time and trimmer work's

  • thsts a really small deck

  • Thats a cheap engine from china(SV150,about 3.75 to 4.00 hp,they are being put on a lot of mowers now in the uk,i think they cost about £17 a unit to the mower makers. also as china dont take any notice of patent laws anywhere a lot of briggs/honda spares fit it,ie briggs headgasket, honda carb parts etc.its a cheap and nasty engine that wount put up with a lot abuse.(whats so clever about starting them with no choke?)

  • The mower engine looks like a Briggs & Stratton model rated about 5 to 6.5 HP.
