I agree with you workdreamer. I've been playing guitar since 1970 and both are accomplished musicians. I have tons of respect for DS for his work w/ Jean Luc-Ponty.

Daryl is a great guitarist, but he just doesn't understand this song like steve hackett does, good job - but I'm sorry - Hackett is the man!

@lc3566 Hmmm, not sure I agree with your summary. Like yourself I do prefer Hacket's version however Daryl is as equally accomplished as Steve. I'm not looking for a row (!) but for me both these guys have their own style and they both excel.
