I remember DJing at Camden Palace many years ago and we had En Vogue come to PA live on stage. I was the fledgeling warm-up DJ at the time so I got the job of escorting the girls from the dressing room to the stage on cue. They were really sweet, and when these 4 diminutive girls took to the stage and opened with that acapella it was a spine-tingling moment which made your hairs stand on end. To this day still the best live vocals I've ever heard.
Sexy, Fine, Harmonious, Beautiful - EN VOGUE. Not Since The Supremes has a girl group sang and had great choreography. These girls are the epitome of what a girl group should be.
this use to be da SHYT, Back in da DAY!!!!!!!!! DAMMMMMMMMMN!! FINE FEMALES!! REAL MUSIC, ACAPELLA AND ALL!!! Not dat bullshyt they play now!! Nor da phony skeezies they have lip syncing like today!!
They made them black dresses look GOOD; my FAVORITE part was when they move to the "Don't Waste Your Time"... scene, how they move them hips. If that wasn't sexy, then I don't know what was.......Ya-yes.
this was my jam!!!! I was 10 years old when this song came out. It seems like just yesterday I was watching this on BET'S video soul with my man donnie I had a crush on him
All but one left the group at some time, but the originals are back together and were on Don't Forget the Lyrics about a month ago. Not known how long it will stay this way. They still look and sound really good after 20 years.
all the good girls groups always break up.Xscape, SWV ,En vouge.Being a woman myself I really wish women would stop all of the jealousy and competion and stick together. Its a shame to let such good talent go to waste.
Magnificent! One of the best groups ever. Fantastic voices, amazing harmonies. So glad they're all back together again. Can't wait to hear what they do next.
Absolutely the most talented vocal group in the past 20-odd years. I'd put them right up there with the doo-wop and big band groups of the 40s and 50s for sheer pitch and tonal perfection. They truly are a throwback in that regard. You could have them record the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and put it on the radio in 1942 and they'd fit right in. It's a shame most groups care more about their image or dance moves than their sound nowadays...they need to more like EnVogue!
Love this song from 1990, the beat is so damn smooth and funky. The video speaks for itself...beautiful women that can sing also, fantastic song and video!!

true black beauty when women went to the salon not asking for a weave and getting half naked to sell records wasn't a commodity

Wish they would regroup or do something together again, and hopefully make some serious dollars for themselves

@dinmc808 They're supposed to be releasing a new single sometime next week. Let's hope it's true and that it gets promoted.
