  • my question, why the REISSUE can beat the original press? what is not than simple like transfer the master tape again? in this days of technology why reissues are so bad? I dont get it, I want jazz blue notes but I can pay for the originals, I want reissues but with the same sound of the 1st press

  • @anderzom Better lathe & mastering hardware (Such as the Neumann VMS80 with variable pitch/depth etc, higher quality vinyl, better plating, better pressings. Oh, and not everyone can afford the $500 or $5000 Blue Notes... Sure, i have some originals - but i mostly play the reissues. They sound better and are significantly cheaper.

It is a good thing that this music is more available to a wider audience and still in the vinyl format. The Japanese guys are totally crazy about oldschool jazz vinyl

  • @backindauk thanks, you see the new 45rpm form AP, wow great but price is $50 each I can pay for that :(
