At least MAS airplane never crash due to pilot error. In 2000, SIA plane crashed in Taipei due to a pilot who use the wrong runway, and killed so many people. So sad, how much does SIA paid to the victims' family?

The point to that is to promote their new products, A heliconia livery on a MAS 772ER was painted to promote the Business class and this Hibiscus livery on their MAS 747 (MPB and MPD) to promote the economy class.
Malaysian's special colour schemes are really fantastic. Much more creative and beautiful than other Asian airlines like SQ and CX. Well done. I also like the other one on the B777-200ER. Fantastic.
MH operates in a highly competitive local market with a number of top airlines like SQ, CX and Thai and it is still ranked one of the few 5 star airlines (by Skytrax). That is a great achivement. Its service is also way ahead of western airlines.
When you say poorly run can you be abit more specific rather than giving such a sweeping statement. Malaysia is not a city state and it has had to run some unprofitable domestic routes until Air Asia came along and shook up the sector. It has been making losses and has gone through numerous restructurings but has managed to keep its status as one of the top 10 airlines in the world and that is an achievement.
Where do I start. Management and government`s persistence to keep unprofitable routes i.e. KUL-JNB-CPT-EZE, KUL-ARN-EWR, KUL-FRA and to operate low frequecny route in Asia. These routes have been running the red and for the past few years. Management had plans of dropping these routes but had complete about face and kept them for some unknown reason with constant pressure from government.
I want to quibble but that's only 3 international routes out of many that MH operates. As a state-owned airline, you would expect a certain amount of interference from the government. If it was a public company, maybe the state would compensate it for operating routes such as KUL-JNB-EZE at a loss. I'm not sure what you mean by operating a low frequency route in Asia though.

Actually, MAS has earned its largest profits since its inception. This can prove it not a poorly run airline. MAS has dropped its unprofitable routes and has no government interference. It was, but no longer. :)
A great place is also Kograh Golf Club. It's right next to the airport and you can get some great shots there, i played there but didnt have my camera. I went spotting on Wednesday and saw an Antonov An-124-100 come in =)
Yeah i know what you mean.. All the little ones sit there and rub their faces up against it and gets filthy. I must check out Qantas Drive and take some photos

According to worldairlineawards(dot)com, Malaysia Airlines won the Best Cabin award again in 2009.
Singapore Airlines don't even win a single award this year.

Well, to me its very good! I like the atmosphere on the MH planes. Although SQ's inflight entertainment should be better. (Especially on the A380)
