I dont see how the two are even comparable. Metallica is 4/4 timing heavy metal. DEP is progressive metal and are far more technical, not saying either is better than each other but they both bring A LOT to the table music wise. Metallica was revolutionary in the metal world and DEP is how metal got better and more diverse. I don't remember Metallica being as Jazzy as DEP, I don't see DEP being as straight up metal.

The DEP concert was the best concert in my life....The crowd was..INSANE....the Metallica concert was kinda pathetic...crowd and audition sucked ass...and it was fucking expensive..it didnt woth it. OK there are scene kids who listening to DEP but they arent in the moshpit :D

No. Metallica doesn't hold a candle to some of the creative modern bands that stand on their shoulders. Pay tribute to the old legends, for sure. But their time is past. Let the new bands take up the legacy, new bands with as much if not more to offer.

I dont see how the two are even comparable. Metallica is 4/4 timing heavy metal. DEP is progressive metal and are far more technical, not saying either is better than each other but they both bring A LOT to the table music wise. Metallica was revolutionary in the metal world and DEP is how metal got better and more diverse. I don't remember Metallica being as Jazzy as DEP, I don't see DEP being as straight up metal.
