up till about 112 seconds (on the countdown) it was really quite good and the it just became a jumbled mess of rubbish - horrible transitions (if any at all). im sure you can do better if you work on it!
What do you know about Persian linguistics in the first place? The fact of the matter is that the word "Farsi" is an ARABIC word. This word is ONLY used locally! The alternative word for it is "Parsi." In PROPER Persian, the word "Parsi" means "Persian." Pars or Parsa = Persia. Iran = Land of the Aryans. The correct word in English is "Persian" (Parsi). In other words, when you're speaking Persian, you're speaking Parsi NOT "Farsi" (an Arabic word).
Thanks for the correction. I apologize for having cursed at you. I get offended when people distort cultural/historical facts about Iran. It makes me very angry. I simply don't like when people insult my country. Peace.
I don't blame you, mate. The truth is, BBC has an obsession to distort all kinds of facts about Iran, whether it's cultural, historical or geographical. In fact, it has made it a policy to not use the historical & legal name, Persian Gulf - a name that has been endorsed by the UN as the only legitimate name - despite all the letters that it has received by the Iranian people. This company has no respect for the Iranian people. BBC does not like countries such as China, Iran, Russia and Zimbabwe.
clpro: The problem does not always have to be related to linguistics. In the case of Iran, it's much deeper than this. The agenda of Ayatollah BBC is straight-forward. The problem with BBC is not just what happens right now or 10 yrs ago. My problem with BBC goes back to Mossadeq's time - a time BBC was actively spreading all kinds of lies about him, in favor of the coup. Btw, have you even forgot about the Chinese Olympics boycott campaigns? What about all the Tibet pro-separatist BBC articles?
wow what a hardcore persian ... farsi = persian and dont correct me cuz im iranian myself. the word Farsi is used even by linguistics professors at my university so shut ur mouth and dont insult people! go suck shah's ass and then mullahs cuz they are both the same shit
STFU! Why do you talk about Shah/Mullahs and all that crap? What the hell has politics to do with the legitimacy of the name of the language that we speak? As I have already said (if you're not convinced, take a look at the PDF), Parsi = Persian. Farsi, on the other hand, is an ARABIC alternative name that is ONLY used LOCALLY. In proper Iranian, it's called Parsi. The name Persian is the proper English name, thus the name Persian (meaning Parsi) should be used by English speakers.
Okay, we know that your governments have their own little points of view, but we have ours.

Um, the BBC is THE most respected and trusted new organization in the world...
And as for the Persian Gulf thing, that's politics. Don't forget about all the Arab who favor naming it the Arabian Gulf...
And African news services (which I watch sometimes on American public television) also report the same things as the Beeb and Western media.
Also, the BBC is DEPENDENT upon Russian transmitters to broadcast in Central Asia, so if anything, they have an interest to be biased TOWARD Russia...

It's merely a bunch of confusion by English speakers, that's all- they want to sound technical. ;)
