  • Im looking for my family in Tahiti... my great grandfather came to hawaii from tahiti in 1918 and never went back home. hes last name is Terii te toofa or something like that. Hes first name was albert but dont know if he had a different tahitian first name he went by... any leads is greatly appreciated

  • Aloha! Not sure which island your on... there is a Lisa Terii te toofa. She lives in papeete. she is a journalist for one of the tahitian news paper. Daniel Teriitetoofa is in raaitea and can speak english. He lives in vai au au..he is a teacher in vaiauau. you can ask any one once your on raaitea. hope this helps

  • Thank you very VERY much for sharing this song. I am originally from Moorea, and I remember singing this song in the "truck" after school on our way home. This was back in the late 80s, if I remember correctly.

    I love Te Ava Piti. Thank you again. This song brought back a lot of memories, good memories.
