Hey Bret, thanks for posting this Bish poem about Monk and the Piano players. I dig the photos and name dropping. I wouldn't have known who the Lady Bugs were other than Mary Lou Williams. What was the deal with the non-Walter's voice overdub of "Duke" Ellington. Did BIsh say something else here?

WOW, what tremendous tribute. I am so sadden, being so young, 57, when I was growing up in the St. Louis area, all the great Jazz and Blues bars in E. St. Louis, and Gas Light Square, but I am Blessed to have the you tube bringing this great music in my home.I Love it Straight, No Chasers.
