OK, what the fuck is GCN supposed to stand for... it's called a Gamecube, not a Gamecube N. It's the same as when people put PSX when talking about the Playstation. What the fuck does the X stand for? "I'm too stupid to find the 1 key" because that's what is seems like.

i just completly beat this game (for wii) it's great but bongos sound difficult. i find karate kong harder then ninja kong and cactus (not ghastly) in between them.

yah you got the story right on. Donkey kong, bored one day, decides to beat everyone up. Quite a nice story line.

I love getting ridiculously high combo counts in this game, its cool how you gotta not touch the floor. i think i got about 19 one time (combo count)

You can use a gamecube controlling, but it's really cumbersome. It's highly recommended to play this game with the bongos.

Yes, I use a Dazzle capture card, you can easily buy them at stores like Best Buy or Future Shop, but they're more expensive then Gamebridges. Glad you liked the review.

It'll work in a pinch, but if you can, you should probably get a gamebridge, they're cheaper, but you can only get them online through ebay and such.

Great review to a great game! I love the presentation of the game. Nintendo wanted to give DK his own game but didn't want it like any of their other franchises (Super Mario Sunshine, Warioworld, et cetera). So they came up with an innovative control scheme. Awesome. :)

I'll say. I wish there was a sequel coming for the Wii with Bongo support, but after the mediocredy that was Barrel Blast (that game didn't have bongo support despite the Wii having gamecube controller ports!), I can only hope things get better for the big guy.

Yeah, Barrel Blast was made with the Bongo controller in mind. It was originally for the Gamecube but when the Wii came out, they made it into a Wii game instead. They should've at least kept the Bongo support in the game in addition to the Wiimore instead of focusing on the innovations of the Wiimote and Nunchuck. :(

Great review, all this time i was thinking that this game was a musical rythem style game, i hadnt seen any screenshots or anything of it, but i knew it had those drums so always thought it was sorta like gutar hero but with drums
