except Mustangs are entirely different types of car. Vettes and Vipers are exotic cars tuned-down race engines and whatnot. Mustangs are "pony cars" which are meant to have stock suspentions and powerful but nothing too much more than a basic pickup truck. The Ford GT is a competitor to a viper or corvette. Mustangs competer against Challengers and Ghargers, along with Firebirds and Camaros.

And you dont need a Vette to beat a Mustang GT. A Z28 will do just fine as long as it's not an 82-92

If you take to stock ford vs a dodge the dodge is faster and more power but the ford still will out tow it.  The only reason that the cummins wins these shows is because more people tune them because they are cheaper to tune. Why pay $3500 for injectors when you can pay $900. If you take a fully tuned ford vs a fully tuned dodge the ford will roast a dodge.

yeah ok, maybe you should search "EFI live, Duramax diesel". Duramaxes are much faster. A cummins needs more than a smarty and exhaust to even keep up with a PPE or efi live tuned duramax.

By the way, a duramax LBZ has won the two local area truck pulls here for the last 2 years. Then a powerstroke 2nd and cummins 3rd.
