Mustangs are "pony cars" which are meant to have stock suspentions and powerful but nothing too much more than a basic pickup truck. The Ford GT is a competitor to a viper or corvette. Mustangs competer against Challengers and Ghargers, along with Firebirds and Camaros.

And you dont need a Vette to beat a Mustang GT. A Z28 will do just fine as long as it's not an 82-92

The only reason that the cummins wins these shows is because more people tune them because they are cheaper to tune. Why pay $3500 for injectors when you can pay $900.
