I don't just make things up. I am DEAD serious. I am disturbed.

I saw this movie a couple of years ago. Describes very well what kind of person Ed Gein must have been. Some parts of the movie were quite shocking (to me).

Classics like tcm, henry, and deranged have a gritty, chilling documentary feel to them, actors don't seem to act,effects are minimal or nonexistent, lot of attention is given to details and interiors= the killer's mental space : the director makes you feel disturbingly close to those killers and their actions, he takes you there:with'butcher' the whole story seemed unreal, creating distance rather than pulling you in. some people even thought it's just a movie.
problem with this film is that form and content don't match, images are too neat and clichés, too much blue shade and phosphorescent blood :direction udermines the grim reality of the story, and Perkins parody Railsback also underlines this.
Killer film. Railsback did his homework with researching Gein's life. He even adopted the same manorisms. It is a very eerie and twisted movie. I got chills up my spine when watching it.
I managed to snag a copy and watch it often.
Anyone who disses this trailer, really needs to watch the film....that'll wake em up. It's not a bullshit film at all. Gein was not the fastest person around...mental or physical. Excellent fucking film!!!!!!

yes, technically he's not a serial killer, having only been convicted of killing 2 people. the other remains came from grave digging, although i think he may have been suspected of killing others.

wel he was only found guilty for killing two. thay reckon he must of killed his brother and when his house mistereisly went on fire there was two corpses found under that ground where his house sat. Although ed never admitted to any of theese murders he could of well done them and more only god knows.

Don't bother. Terrible terrible terrible movie. Better off to watch the documnetary or one of the original film based on him. "Deranged1974" this movie was a disappointment from the beginning. It developed too quickly. The actor playing Gein was about 4ft tall and looked like a sweet old man and it went to much into his personality when the whole point of Gein is that no one knew what made him tick that what is supposed to be so scary. They tried to explain him and it sucked badly.

He made a vest of human flesh and wore it and hung peoples faces up on the walls as medals.. He had a chair covered in a paper bag.. One officer opened it and found a woman's head... People.. Classics like tcm, henry, and deranged have a gritty, chilling documentary feel to them, actors don't seem to act,effects are minimal or nonexistent, lot of attention is given to details and interiors= the killer's mental space : the director makes you feel disturbingly close to those killers and their actions, he takes you there:with'butcher' the whole story seemed unreal, creating distance rather than pulling you in. some people even thought it's just a movie.

problem with this film is that form and content don't match, images are too neat and clichés, too much blue shade and phosphorescent blood :direction udermines the grim reality of the story, and Perkins parody Railsback also underlines this.

Killer film. Railsback did his homework with researching Gein's life. He even adopted the same manorisms. It is a very eerie and twisted movie. I got chills up my spine when watching it.
I managed to snag a copy and watch it often.
Anyone who disses this trailer, really needs to watch the film....that'll wake em up. It's not a bullshit film at all. Gein was not the fastest person around...mental or physical. Excellent fucking film!!!!!!
