i doubt that seriously. the developers of Guitar Hero are looking for ways to maximize the guitar functions, but 2 problems with your theory:

1, they want to maximize functions for GUITAR HERO, not any other game, least of all Halo.

2, they're looking for NEW functions and controls, not different configurations for old functions and controls.

nobody, least of all the Guitar Hero developers, will steel this ideal, as cool as it is for the casual gamer.

thats really easy. the guitar hero x-plorer (the xbox guitar hero controller)is run through a USB which is easily identified through any computer. Now, when you have halo 1 or halo 2 you can configure the control settings to acommodate the buttons on a guitar hero controller. What he just did was not that impressive. the only hard part was to get used to those weird-ass settings.
