I'm sorry but Pia looks far too youthful, I can't get my head round it! Maybe non-Dutch can see it more objectively because she's not considered a national treasure outside The Netherlands!?
Bad Casting??!! Pia is a perfect Norma, better than Simone (for me than). i saw the show in London 15 years ago with Patti Lupone also a great Norma. In march a go again to London and yes!!! to see again "Sunset Boulevard" with Katherine Evans, hope she is also good, because i dont now this actress.
I saw the new London prod a second time last night. It is very simple - no set, jusgt a small spiral staircase and the actors play their own instruments. It has received superb reviews and shows that the show can be done very simply and is often more effective as a result. It is receiving standing ovations each night. x

I have seen the clips though, dear, and in my opinion she is wrong. Now, if you wish to see the perfect Norma Desmond you must venture to London and see the sublime Kathryn Evans in the new production ! She is divine dear ! viva your minge ! x
I would love to see the London production! But I don't think clips can compare to seeing Pia live, she's really great! But everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course ;)
pia is the best musicalstar i have ever seen, maybe too young looking but i don't no if 44 is young for this role. sorry for my bad gramma. i don't speak english very well
Ik had ook gelezen dat John en Roy zouden komen, maar niet gezien. En Baer heb ik wel een paar x zien lopen...je kan hem ook in het filmpje van rtl boulevard zien, dan zie je hem ff tijdens het applaus.
