I had to use an online calculator to put the numbers into perspective as i don't use imperial measurements.

So if that guy is 5"7', that equals to 170cm (or 1.7m).

Since i'm 178cm (or 1.78m), that equals to a little over 5"10'.

Does that mean i'm even more screwed than that guy?

This worries me as i had planned to buy an MX5 in a few years.

I know about the rollbar issue, my worries rest on the height.

should fit fine with race bucket but definitely not with the stock seat. I'm also 5'11" and with the helmet on there's not enough headroom, you have to drive with your chin tucked in. I might just do the seat rail mod one of these days.

No, it doesnt suck to be tall. Anyone who actually BELIEVES that is likely to be a midget (midget meaning under six foot) or they are over 7 foot but with no basketball skills. Somehow, I have never felt bad about not fitting into Miatas, MR2s, and the S2000. There are PLENTY of cars tall people can fit into that are fun to drive. Most people never get the chance to drive a real F1 or IndyCar so it really isnt a big deal that "tall people" wouldnt fit.

Well, I'm 6 ft 9 and about 270 lbs, so not all sports cars are built for us. I tried to drive a friend's NSX and not only was my head literally wedged between my chest and the ceiling, but I also wear a size 18 shoe and there was no way in hell I could manipulate the pedal set up. All I could make it do was rev up and dump the clutch to chirp the tires and choke it down because I couldn't get my foot off the brake with either foot. But I DO own 2 vettes. Tight fit, but almost just right!
