  • Freddy kills one human.))

  • brilliant movie

  • I do the NOES encyclo late every sat night and early sun morning, it's a ritual with me. I know the labyrinth inside and uot!

  • an underrated movie!

  • the new night mare story wasnt bad but their wasnt as much of a plot as their was in the first third and 6th movie

  • @GraffBoiWog wasn't much of a plot?!?!?!? it had the most plot out of any of them

  • in this interview you can see why he next SCREAM his next movie

  • Wes Craven= Best horror writer tied with Steven King. Both are the best and one is not greater than the other because they work in different "Types" of horror.

  • in my opinion, this is the best movie out of all of the movies.

  • @movie5647 i change that dude the remake was awesome i think better than the first!!

  • Robert Englund IS Freddy!

  • @movie5647 remake is stupid simply cuz robert isthe face of the nightmare series

  • I know I'm biased but Nightmare has gotta be the best horror series by far. What's so scary about a big dumb animal like Jason Vorhees or Mike Myers that kills out of instinct without any kind of emotion?

Freddy is so much more interesting as a character. Plus in the Nightmare films the filmmakers have all the waking/nightmare psychological stuff to play around with.

Fuck it, as far as I'm concerned they can keep making Nightmare films for ever.

    FREDDY IS ETERNAL!

  • I love Craven's work, horror in general, and New Nightmare, but Craven's arguement against censorship is invalid. Horror DOES exist in the real world whether or not horror films cause it. Just look at a newspaper. Making movies about it does nothing to contain it. That's not to say it causes more real life horror, but it does nothing to stop it either.

  • Wes Craven is awesome and so is Nightmare on Elm Street and Freddy. Really excited to see the re-make, and I hope Mr.Craven has some sort of part in it.

  • sad to say wes has no involvement in the remake. he was also very disappointed about the fact he wasn't asked at all.

  • i agree with you on that.

  • a buddy of mine actually met Rob Englund

he's a very nice guy actually

never expect him to be the guy that played Freddy Krueger

a very Peter Parker/Spider-Man contrast if you will

  • For me New Nightmare isn't one of the best, either - although I wouldn't say it's the worst, the worst is "Dream Child" by FAR imo.

  • My best one is still #1.... the original started it all!!!

New Nightmare was just more of a Surreal Feel to everyone who did the first one.

  • brilliant idea and brilliant film

  • i thought this was the best and most creative since the orginal. after 3 it seem to repeat it self. not only that freddy became the "punch line". This brought him back to being the evil monster instead of the comic relief.

It kinda sounds like your talking about Little Monsters. I could be wrong, but that's what it sounds like.

  • Some-1 PLEASE help me, i cant figure this out, but i need to know the name of the movie. I never seen it my b/f wants me to see it and cant remember the name. Ok i guess its about a little boy that see's stuff in the closet or something and his parents keep telling him nothings there, but then the things grab him and take him into like a different world, OR SOMETHING im really not sure ...... PLEASE HELP ALL......thanks Ann

  • Its called 'Wes Cravens New New Nightmare'made in 1994, its really good u may need to watch a nightmare on elm st to kind of know wats going on, there great films.

  • could be little monsters

  • that was so what i was thinking lol

  • the new nightmare was excellent

  • @belrock1 i loved the blood tubes on his glove in that film, they could have added the blood tubes on the glove in the remake

  • So lets say if there is no more sequel to the Halloween franchise after Halloween Ressurection, (not including Rob Zombies movie, as I'm talking about the one that was already in action from Halloween 1-8), if there is no sequel long enough, that Michael Myers may start to REALLY haunt the dreams of the producers and people involved in the franchise and so forth, and try to force them to make another sequel OR ELSE!! lol, Interesting idea really.

  • so right. i wish they could make a remake of all the sequels.

  • I love hearing information from Wes. His commentrys are always interesting and he's one of the few people who can do a solo track and make you stay interested.
