The supposed "orb" really means nothing. Now if Aaron's foot had showed the "shadow hand" as well as Zak freaking out, we would not be having this discussion. But it does not show this.
1) If it was on Zak's camera, why not on Aaron's?.
2) Why didn't Aaron's camera catch the shadow had as well? he was in the back and filmed the "freak out" that Zak did. Yet when you look at the angle and wall, Nothing. The whole event was filmed out of sync. It is because of Aaron's video capture we suggest that Zak act was filmed first. Then Nick filmed the "shadow hand" on the wall. which means GA faked it like we have said.
@devildog110910 We looked at the video again, and in fact Zak had the camera primarily in his right had, because when he turns to Nick, it is in his right hand and his left is empty. Prior to this he was steadying the camera with his left.this is why we have stated that Zak faked the event. He had the motive and the opportunity.

@acsam12304 We can't do that, their videos are copyright. we don't need to show a step by step for you to comprehend that what we are showing you is plausible. all you need do is look at the clips (Ghost Adventures on YouTube "shadow hand") yourself and compare with an open mind. I think you will see that ZAK most likely made the "ghost hand" himself as there was no ghost hand visible in Aaron's video when he freaked out (bad acting).
@TAPPS...I have a great idea. Contact the Travel Channel, and assume the role of the team leader for proving all material is real, or fake. If it is real, Zak, Nick and Aaron will have NO problem with you doing so, as this will only help to PROVE the existance of ghosts. And this is ultimately what you are doing now..so maybe you can get do it for free, as money will be a reason for folks not believing you too. I see how it could easily be faked. However, you never know on television. The only thing that makes me still believe that their not faking, is the fact that, they hardly ever get anything like that. They normally only get EVPs and orbs. Which can also easily be debunked as well but if they fake everything, then why dont they fake good stuff like shadow figures, full body apparitions and brick throws more often? Why would they fake small petty things like orbs and EVPs more than shadow figures?
@Kristof1648 that's because EVPs and Orbs are the easiest to claim or create. ORBs have been debunked by many including us. EVPs are a form of brain matrixing. Where the brain fills in the gaps to make sense of what it perceives. If you listen to white noise long enough, you can hear almost everything. if you hold a conch shell to your ear, you hear the ocean or rain. its all in what the brain perceives.

So to retain what little credibility that Ghost Adventures has, they have opted to down play major events like they did when this show first came out. Instead they go for less intense events to avoid being debunked like the other shows.

@danitonfen13 Might of been a typo. what was meant was Aaron's shot from way back who filmed the "Acting" outbreak. The camera that captured the ghost hand could not of happened at the time because of Aaron's footage which shows no hand on the wall at the moment the event occurred. It does show that Nicks camera was pointed at the wall and Zak's back. Zaks camera could only Filmed the wall. which Tells us they shot the scene BEFORE or AFTER the VERY bad acting, your Choice.

I do watch GA, not because it's "real" but because it's entertaining. Also, it's not only about the ghosts, the show focus a lot on the places they're visiting and their history, there's a reason why it airs on the TRAVEL channel.
Most of the evidences are probably fake, and I don't blame you for trying to debunk it, but asking for the show's cancellation is pathetic and it won't help you getting better comments.

I like the show a lot, but not because I believe in the paranormal. I like the theme of the show, how it's based around 3 guys getting "locked" into deserted locations and we get to watch the craziness that ensues.
Maybe you should encourage fans to write and ask that the show be portrayed as fiction, but I think that would kill some of the fun. The GAC is a well rounded nice looking group of men. I much prefer watching them than an "average" ghost hunter, eye-candy sells.

@Tapps47 on the subject of EVPs I've had some relatively unexplainable things happen in my house, the best example of which is a recurring radio that has "existed" over several decades and for a while made me think I might be going crazy until my dad asked me if I had heard it yet.

We didn't just throw a video together, we researched all the angles of the camera and the original footage. allot of time when into this video in research alone. if you refuse to get it or see what we have shown you. @sullylou was it filmed under the same conditions as the original footage? NO. Was it filmed by them? NO. But it DID show that the shadow hand could of been faked. YES! It DID show how? YES! So it serves it purpose.
Whether or not GH faked it or not TAPPS is trying to show us that the ghost hand shadow can be faked very easily. I don't think they are trying to say ghosts don't exist and here is proof. what I think TAPPS is trying to say is don't believe every little thing you see on TV (Remember the "Blair Witch Project."") Don't get me wrong I watch GH every week because it is entertaining, I also watch Supernatural, and Being Human for the same reason.
what you guys need to realize is that they are using lights that are mounted beside their cameras, and they are not using headlights from a car that are positioned 10 feet away from them, so if someone's hand were to block the light enough to "stage" this "shadow" it would block the entire light and possibly the entire lens of the camera so you would see nothing but black screen...keep up the good work guys
@stdparanormalnj We know what lights they use. IR lights with real night vision cameras. What you don't seem to understand is that light is light. IR has the same characteristics as light that we see. And as such shadows are created the same way. use a small flash light and smaller objects and you can get the same effect we did. the angle is everything. thanks for your comment.
I personally think Ghosts exist and Ghost Adventures is one of the few shows where I actually think that they dont fake MOST OF IT, I'm simple saying that there may be some Evidence that was made by the producers to keep ratings up but also I have had a personal paranormal experiance and I know theres something out there and there is no real proof that there isn't another life after this one.

Something we have been thinking about since our days of investigating ended. In the weeks to come we will show that footage and explain what we think is really happening. Why we have not done this before is we need to get permission from the old club members which we have not seen in 9 years.

I have only 1 problem with this debunking. You neither give us an episode number nor footage from said episode. Why don't you give us an episode number with a time IE Ghost Adventures Season 2 Episode 13 23 minutes 33 seconds. I'm not against debunking the BS, but I am for making a good argument.

I think it will add to our debunking of this obvious staging. We can not use the actual footage as its against the copy right law and Sy-Fi has already complained about our use of their footage already in the past.
@Tapps47 Silly copyright laws, I actually saw the footage you were speaking about on another channel and they did a side by side of the actual "ghost hand" and the second camera. They noted how the time lapse did not match up, and about 5 or so seconds after Zak felt the "touch" he grabbed his right arm with his left hand, just like we saw the shadow do. You offer good logical proof with this video on how it could be accomplished. I am a fan of GA, but i don't believe everything is see on t.v.

I seen that video on YouTube you described. our concern is always how it could of been faked.if you look at Aaron's footage. you can see that when he freaks out there is not a shadow hand on the wall. This indicates that it was filmed first. they then created the shadow hand appear. The hand also appears from the wrong side also indicating that it was the hand of the person being touched.

@august361 Plenty has been done to debunk Ghost Hunters, so we thought debunking GA would be a good idea as they are just as bad as Ghost hunters's show. we debunk it all to be honest.
I'm happy to see some people putting the GA footage to the test. We've started watching this show on NetFlix, and we find it pretty entertaining. While a believer in the Spirit World, my first instinct is to always assume a "logical" or "reasonable" explanation for the paranormal. And that is one problem I have with Ghost Adventures. They don't attempt to apply science or religion to their ventures. They're just what seems to be an impromptu puppet team with some cameras.

Because if so, it's impressive that he managed that without jostling the camera arm. @pyookface no, our guy "Ron" was not shotting the video. i was behind him as explained in the video. it was not Zak's footage, it was nicks it seems. If zak claimed that was his footage and that he caught the ghost shadow it would be a lie. Why was it not on the initial scene where Aaron catches Zak over acting. Anything else they try to make the shot seem legit is just a smoke screen for what they staged.
As I said from a previous video. Just take it with a grain of salt. So what if its fake its T.V. 90% of things on Television are fake or even stretch the truth. Nobodies going to watch a show if nothing happens. (there have been episodes of GA where nothing happens at all) most likely producers may have asked Zak to stage some encounters to boost ratings. thats just how T.V. works. I'm sure the GAC was pretty legit before they got their show and probably still catch a few real encounters.
@Tapps47 what I mean by legit is that they use to be just like every other paranormal investigative group then TV got a hold of them and began staging some encounters. Im sure you use the basic emf detectors and temperature readings that the GAC has with them so isn't that legitamte enough for some of their shows? (even though they do over react and ham it up whenever they get a spiked reading).

This IS the most believable ghost show on tv but were other questionable scenes earlier in the seasons that had me question their authenticity. this was just too over the top.
this is two seperate "scenes" spliced into one. basically zak records his own hand on the wall and freaks... then they reset and aaron records a reenactment with zak (holding a recorder in his hand this time) pretending to see a hand and freaking out.. it IS also still fun to watch.

I just watched the GA show where Zak stated a hand came into view as a shadow on the wall. I can't express my disappointment in this show where they FAKE scenes. I have observed this another time when GA was at an old fort where the shadow of an arm appeared on the wall. It was funny how the arm was shaped just like Zaks...Don't get me wrong I like the show and a lot of there findings are awesome. They don't need to fake things and that disappoints me.

I see how it could easily be faked. However, you never know on television. The only thing that makes me still believe that their not faking, is the fact that, they hardly ever get anything like that. They normally only get EVPs and orbs. Where the brain fills in the gaps to make sense of what it perceives. So to retain what little credibility that Ghost Adventures has, they have opted to down play major events like they did when this show first came out. The camera that captured the ghost hand could not of happened at the time because of Aaron's footage which shows no hand on the wall at the moment the event occurred. It does show that Nicks camera was pointed at the wall and Zak's back. Zaks camera could only Filmed the wall. which Tells us they shot the scene BEFORE or AFTER the VERY bad acting, your Choice.

I do watch GA, not because it's "real" but because it's entertaining. Also, it's not only about the ghosts, the show focus a lot on the places they're visiting and their history, there's a reason why it airs on the TRAVEL channel.
Most of the evidences are probably fake, and I don't blame you for trying to debunk it, but asking for the show's cancellation is pathetic and it won't help you getting better comments.

I like the show a lot, but not because I believe in the paranormal. I like the theme of the show, how it's based around 3 guys getting "locked" into deserted locations and we get to watch the craziness that ensues.
Maybe you should encourage fans to write and ask that the show be portrayed as fiction, but I think that would kill some of the fun. The GAC is a well rounded nice looking group of men. I much prefer watching them than an "average" ghost hunter, eye-candy sells.

@Tapps47 I just don't see a point in belittling someone for showing something that I already assumed most if not all ghost hunting shows do. There do however seem to be a bunch of butt-hurt GA fans, the first time I saw that clip the only thing I could think was "omfg they really expect us to believe that?"
There are also EVPs they catch that sound like little more than moving fabric until they put the caption over it.

Whether or not GH faked it or not TAPPS is trying to show us that the ghost hand shadow can be faked very easily. I don't think they are trying to say ghosts don't exist and here is proof. what I think TAPPS is trying to say is don't believe every little thing you see on TV (Remember the "Blair Witch Project."") Don't get me wrong I watch GH every week because it is entertaining, I also watch Supernatural, and Being Human for the same reason.

what you guys need to realize is that they are using lights that are mounted beside their cameras, and they are not using headlights from a car that are positioned 10 feet away from them, so if someone's hand were to block the light enough to "stage" this "shadow" it would block the entire light and possibly the entire lens of the camera so you would see nothing but black screen...keep up the good work guys

@stdparanormalnj We know what lights they use. IR lights with real night vision cameras. What you don't seem to understand is that light is light. IR has the same characteristics as light that we see. And as such shadows are created the same way. use a small flash light and smaller objects and you can get the same effect we did. the angle is everything. thanks for your comment.

I personally think Ghosts exist and Ghost Adventures is one of the few shows where I actually think that they dont fake MOST OF IT, I'm simple saying that there may be some Evidence that was made by the producers to keep ratings up but also I have had a personal paranormal experiance and I know theres something out there and there is no real proof that there isn't another life after this one.

Something we have been thinking about since our days of investigating ended. In the weeks to come we will show that footage and explain what we think is really happening. Why we have not done this before is we need to get permission from the old club members which we have not seen in 9 years.

I have only 1 problem with this debunking. You neither give us an episode number nor footage from said episode. Why don't you give us an episode number with a time IE Ghost Adventures Season 2 Episode 13 23 minutes 33 seconds. I'm not against debunking the BS, but I am for making a good argument.

@Tapps47 Silly copyright laws, I actually saw the footage you were speaking about on another channel and they did a side by side of the actual "ghost hand" and the second camera. They noted how the time lapse did not match up, and about 5 or so seconds after Zak felt the "touch" he grabbed his right arm with his left hand, just like we saw the shadow do. You offer good logical proof with this video on how it could be accomplished. I am a fan of GA, but i don't believe everything is see on t.v.

I seen that video on YouTube you described. our concern is always how it could of been faked.if you look at Aaron's footage. you can see that when he freaks out there is not a shadow hand on the wall. This indicates that it was filmed first. they then created the shadow hand appear. The hand also appears from the wrong side also indicating that it was the hand of the person being touched.

I'm happy to see some people putting the GA footage to the test. We've started watching this show on NetFlix, and we find it pretty entertaining. While a believer in the Spirit World, my first instinct is to always assume a "logical" or "reasonable" explanation for the paranormal. And that is one problem I have with Ghost Adventures. They don't attempt to apply science or religion to their ventures. They're just what seems to be an impromptu puppet team with some cameras.

Because if so, it's impressive that he managed that without jostling the camera arm. I'd like to see you try this again with your camera arm held out farther to the right as it is in the GA clip and then try this trick without shaking the camera or drastically changing your profile...

@pyookface no, our guy "Ron" was not shotting the video. i was behind him as explained in the video. it was not Zak's footage, it was nicks it seems. If zak claimed that was his footage and that he caught the ghost shadow it would be a lie. Why was it not on the initial scene where Aaron catches Zak over acting. Anything else they try to make the shot seem legit is just a smoke screen for what they staged.

As I said from a previous video. Just take it with a grain of salt. So what if its fake its T.V. 90% of things on Television are fake or even stretch the truth. Nobodies going to watch a show if nothing happens. (there have been episodes of GA where nothing happens at all) most likely producers may have asked Zak to stage some encounters to boost ratings. thats just how T.V. works. I'm sure the GAC was pretty legit before they got their show and probably still catch a few real encounters.

This IS the most believable ghost show on tv but were other questionable scenes earlier in the seasons that had me question their authenticity. this was just too over the top.
this is two seperate "scenes" spliced into one. basically zak records his own hand on the wall and freaks... then they reset and aaron records a reenactment with zak (holding a recorder in his hand this time) pretending to see a hand and freaking out.. it IS also still fun to watch.

I just watched the GA show where Zak stated a hand came into view as a shadow on the wall. I can't express my disappointment in this show where they FAKE scenes. I have observed this another time when GA was at an old fort where the shadow of an arm appeared on the wall. It was funny how the arm was shaped just like Zaks...Don't get me wrong I like the show and a lot of there findings are awesome. They don't need to fake things and that disappoints me.

This doesn't prove shit, mainly for one reason: You didn't show us the actual Ghost Adventures footage from the show! We have absolutely nothing to compare this to! It's just a fucking video showing HOW you can fake this, but not in any way proving it's a fake from the show because you give no comparison. A side-by-side comparison showing how they're exactly them same, THEN I'll believe it.
