hmmm, I think their songs are kind of 'dark' without trying and becoming pussy emo shit. Not saying their newer shit is bad or emo, just it's lost it's old punk-esk edge which is what I liked about ALK3 and unfortunately they have done what most alt/punk bands from mid/late nineties/ early 2000's which is spiral into slightly emo crap.
