  • looks great, reminds me of gran turismo 2 but with better graphics.

can I ask what's the background music in this vid? :)

  • @asztal911

    fall into doze by move

    (it's in the description)

  • @TORCSami thanks :) I saw it, but I can't find it on youtube...

  • Looks wery good indeed!

  • I especially like the reworked Corkskrew... really great! And on Aalborg, the robots use the whole "border" and "side" strip for taking a better line... This is something I always waited for as I developed some tracks with lots of "border" and "side" to drive on...

    Great work at all!

    cheers, kimi

  • Looks like the next step for TORCS! Very good job! I know how hard it is to write software, I can barely imagine how much effort has been put into this.

Does TORCS-NG keep the ability to program your own robots?

  • Yes, there is still the ability to program your own robot. I think the way to get it working has changed somewhat, though, but I'm not sure.

  • What version of torcs is this? I see unreleased tracks and robots

  • An unreleased (for now) version of TORCS, called TORCS-NG. It is developed seperately from the original TORCS, to incorperate new features of varying degrees from all-new robots and tracks, to little things like the tyres actually looking like they have tread on them.

    As for the unreleased robots:

one of the robots is a downloadable version of SIMPLIX, which can be found on wdbee's website (look up "wdbee torcs" and look around his site).

  • looking good! can't wait
