There is also another village in Pelagonia region - Republic of Macedonia, it's name is Ermensko, by mine opinion, the root of that name is most probably connected with the Armenians who rebelled against Byzantine rule in the time of the Byzantine emperor Basil II and after their defeat they were accepted by his oponent the Macedonian czar Samuil who settled them in Macedonia, and the toponyms such as Armensko are a remainder of their presence. Macedonia was a multi-ethnic region from centuries. There were not jut macedonians there but also Aromanians , Albanians . Turcs and greeks . Macedonia was a multi-ethnic region from centuries. There were not jut macedonians there but also Aromanians , Albanians . Turcs and greeks . Now i dont know if the split of the region by greece and Serbian Kingdom was right but you have to admitt that slavic macedonians were not majoritary on the hole surface of the region.
