if u have the old ps3. u might have yellow light which is like your ps3 is basically unplayable. it always freezes and im not sure if it can be fixed but i dont know it sounds like yellow light.

The reason there is framerate lag on the ps3 is because treyarch ported the 360 version of the game to the ps3 and of course that means that the game basically sucks on ps3. I also have been dealing with this issue and sadly no patch will ever fix the problem because it is a hardware issue. They would have to completely redo the game in order to fix it and we all know that isn't gonna happen. Just gotta suck it up and suffer.

my ps3 is an original but is very well looked after .. wen i play black ops my ps3 wud freeze 3 times in 30 mins and it would only happen on black ops not on a single other game. as a result i gave up on black ops for 2 months how ever its seems to be kinda fixed now with the last 2 ps3 updates/patches. if anybody else was in this situation give it another go and see how it goes

I have the slim, and my freezes up on that game a lot, and quite a few times the lag has been so bad that it's almost useless to actually fire at people because they'll be 10 yards away from where you're seeing them. The patch they let out yesterday seems to have made everything worse, too. I couldn't get into a game of Domination at all for at least 20 minutes. The overall combination is making me rage pretty hard

Please don't hate on me for posting about the 360, but let me give my opinion on tis issue.

I agree that framerate lag is not as prevalent as it is on the PS3, and I agree with the not being able to play with your party half the time.

However the freezing bit I believe is plagued for both systems. I have had my hearty XBOX freeze into between host transfers, and I have so many connection interrupts I cry every time it happens.

XBOX has a slight edge, but I feel its problems will add up soon.
