Mickey likely knew this series- in which I recall he inherited or bought a craft and used it for tourists and other work (his co-star was Samee Tong from Bachelor Father starring John Forsythe)- was a dog. And it was on ABC, not so popular then. It got quickly canceled. You either think Rooney was talented or you don't. I think he really was. And talented people are not so nice, if you think about it.

Nice hat Mickey-he was a miserable piece of shit then and is still an asshole. Met him in FLA a couple years ago and he really has absolutely no social skills whatsoever. Put a camera on him and gee whiz he's nice. Hollywood created him and he's just as fake as a painted backdrop.

I loved seeing this...it proves that Mickey is human... of course he is.. And a great American. I work with a lot of on air talent and actors and they all have the same reaction of reading these types of promos at times. No real surprise here. It's great seeing this promo outake though.

Hysterical stuff! The Mickster is obviously not having one of his better days....anyone who was married as many times as he was deserves to be allowed to show some exasperation sometimes! But it's not true that the Los Angeles County Marriage Bureau names a revolving door after him.  As Mr Lipnick (of Capitol Pictures) would say, "Let's put an end to that rumor...right now!".
