Canadian troops were attached to Australian Units in WWI in the battle of Le Hamel. It was Australian AND Canadian troops who then went on to break the Hindenburg Line.

Australia was fighting the Japanese AND the Germans in WWII. We inflicted the 1st defeat on the *ENTIRE* German Army at the Siege of Tobruk we then shipped those same troops over to PNG and inflicted the 1st defaet of the Japanese Army in 400 years at the Battle of Milne Bay.
