no, i drove the 08 in the snow up a hill, and it was so tail happy. though i drove a 2002 jeep grand cherokee and with shittier tires it cuts right through the snow no problem. Plus kias suck for reliability and they are made like shit, interior and exterior.
music doesn't do much for me, but I own an 04 LX 4x4 Sport Pack and I LOVE Mine. Someone once asked what the SNOW mode does on the 2WD models. Don't use it, else you'll be shoveling your Sorento out for a few hours. ;)
All it does is skip first gear, but 'ure right, it's useless in snow lol. I've never gotten so stuck I had to shovel but Ive spent enough time to wish I had bought it up north with 4x4 (bought in the south, moved to north). Otherwise I love the Sorento - it's a great value and handsome truck!
