now, pardon me, but i do find the other dancers distracting at times. i like the overall performance though. creative movements that are unique.

i really like her primal costume & fluid movements, along with tight isolations.

Tribal belly dance seems to be the only dance style of belly dance that embraces a woman's beauty, or maybe there are a lot of men out there on youtube that only post belly dancers that are always skinny or just pretty in a flashy costume. The pregnant women dancing is beautiful. thanks for that video! It's nice to know that in a world that displays so much artificial beauty there are some who have the courage to express true beauty.

Thank you for this :) I was the pregnant dancer on the video. I agree with this. In my pre-pregnancy size I was a 2, as you can see, in that video I had gained many inches. It took a lot of support from my fellow dancers to overcome shyness/self conciousness and realize I was still beautiful, and showcase my big tummy on a stage. Now it's one of my favorite pregnancy memories. I'm glad I did it.

if she's had a baby before this one, that would make her stomache get bigger the next time becuase her muscles would be more able to stretch. however it could also help make it bigger that bellydancers already use their stomache muscles bolth ways bolth out and in when doing bellyrolls so even if she had tight abs her muslces could stretch easier than mist women. idk just thinking.

It all depends on the women as many girls can have multi children and they resume a smaller shape through out the pregnancy and after. (which I envy as getting back down to my size is hard). lol.

It is difficult to dance while pregnant. Even harder after having surgery while pregnant, which I did. But anyone can do what they put their mind to do, with hard determination and practiced effort. And I agree with you about this performance and the support they show to the momma-to-be.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I had a great time doing it, it's one of my most cherished pregnancy memories. I love my danzart-sisters for supporting me on that and being part of such a great journey.

I also danced "Raks Al Assaya", bet you can't spot me in that one! The dress concealed my tummy, well, sort of.. hehe.
