Seamtress you sound like your a Native from Turtle Island. If you are your comments are very disturbing. Disturbing because as Natives we are to protect the land that we live on. Land that we are supposed to be guardians of. Do you realize how much damage is being done to Mother and by your bands consent??? What do you plan on leaving for the next generations? You talk about industries, jobs and future that destroying Mother is bringing your tribe. I ask at what price does all this come to?

answer to samstress22, I don't know who you are, what's your job and where you're living but there's one thing that I know about...in 30 or 50 years, you or your kids won't be able to get outside just to take a normal breath without breathing toxics substances. There's other ways to help our own undustries without the destruction of our country's nature. You should read about TAR SANDS, cause I believe you don't know a lot. Just take a look on Wikipedia website or in canadian newspapers.

What the hell are they talking about? Ft Chip is being decimated by oil companies? Do you all realize how much money the band makes by collaborating with the oil companies? And I don't mean handouts, I mean developing their own industries to give band members jobs and futures, housing, community programming, you name it. Oh yeah, and don't forget all the money that groups like Greenpeace receive from them. That's right, they get their cut too. But biting the master's hand like this, tsk, bad dog

@samstress22 it is Unbelievable how money can turn people into that. Man i figure you are from Alberta, are you? I am a Quebecer and i worked up there on the oil fields. This is an absolute disaster. All the money in the world is not worth one single human life. What is your point? Make as much money as we can and than hope that someone will find out how to reverse all the damages? We are talking about an ENVIRONMENTAL HOLOCAUST. This is the word's biggest corporate project.. wake up!
