  • F'Nin WOW, I'm still Wow;n to this after 9 months,,,,,

  • Man I miss the real bands. Be glad we lived when we did. New shit sucks.

  • Fuck me, this is awesome. I play this every night ! And every night I get blown away.

  • I wish the camera would have stayed on Pete more. I'm totally captivated with his playing on this track...

  • :) yep.

  • Just think if Badfinger would have ruled the charts like the Beatles and John Lennon wouldn't have been killed. Music would be a different place today.

  • Hey Pete's guitar is George Harrisons :-) I want an SG!!

  • Ham's lead playing...thumbs up...that guy just blows my mind! From the melodies he poured out of his soul to the compositions he worked out so finely and to the plain old making the guitar sing is why Badfinger will live on...not saying the rest of the guys should be taken as being along for the ride, but Pete was out of this world with talent.

  • wow

  • Pete was a naive genius, what a fucking guitar player!!!!!! ***************** Joey at his peak. Great song and killer lead. Never heard George Harrison play the balls of the guitar - Pete does - and wrote 'With Out You'............ No comparison intheir lead work.

  • It would better days with Badfinger still around!

  • What a guitar player!

  • Joey must look back and say wow is that really me

  • Joey Molland really made Badfinger in my book!

  • Argghh I go wild every time I hear them. Love them to bits.

  • man..this is just incredible...they can play.....my favorite ever uk band after the beatles..tho whenever i even hear the name badfinger my heart feels alittle tighter, ifeel sader, i still cant beleive what happen to these guys

  • Joey Molland is a great musician.

  • that bass is blinding. especially in the 'Day After Day' video.

  • Fantastic video!!

Thanks so much for posting it.

    Barb from CA

  • Tommy Evans was always there with a top notch bass and a top notch harmony. All of the guys were just fantastic. They worked so hard.

  • frickin hell these guys were stunning....

  • Sad story!

So much talent. If thats what money does you to ya , then who needs it!

  • @simpleman1776 Sad story all right , but the money problem wasn't too much, it was too little. The crooked U.S. manager (Badfinger didn't know he was a crook) that they hired in 1970, screwed them out of most of their earnings and then got the boys sued by their record company Warner Bros. When Pete Ham was at his lowest point, he had a baby on the way and didn't even have the money to pay the mortgage on his home

    .

Look up "Stan Polley" on google for details on the piece of crap.

  • Pete Ham always shines on this song. The BBC recording is hot, too! He really "made" a lot of Joey's songs with his lead guitar work, like his lead throughout "Get Away" and 'Mean Mean Jamima". Genius!

  • Ringo should have covered this song on one of his albums - it sounds tailor-made for him.

  • Man, this band is great!

  • So nice band. And I like the guitar sound in this song.

    DAMN COOL!!!!

But Pete and Tom...I feel sorry for them to tears.

  • This is my favorite Badfinger song.

  • Shame what happened to the boys, the music business was dreadfully unfair to them.

  • great sound! i can dig it!

  • Very cool! I enjoyed this so much! Thanks for posting!!

  • all four are great musicians Joey has the face of an angel and awesome stage presence. His contributions to the band are undeniable!

    awesome vid thanks for posting!

  • Always thought Pete was twice the guitar player Joey was (is.) Suitcase is another good example of that.

  • pete ham can seriously play that fucking guitar!!!!!!

  • @kentcrawf you better believe it,,so underrated the guy was a guitar great without question,

  • Smokin' lead from beginning to end. Pete was just incredibly talented in so many ways.

  • Man Pete could really play some lead!!

  • April 26, 1971 Badfinger came to Joplin, Missouri. I was there. This was one of the songs performed. Such a great, organic group. Just a few weeks later they were on stage with George Harrison for the Concert for Bangladesh. Awe!

  • Wish I was there too

  • you mean at this concert? Me too.

  • I don't play, but man that drummer is worth the price of admission!

  • outstanding live version done by ONE outstanding band!!

  • first viewing iv seen of this, they just get better every time 1 see em,some band then and some band now, such a bloody waste,p,h, you had so much talent, you too tom,

  • oh yeah... great version

  • "Just plain wonderful" says it all.

  • In "Without You" Tom had some adjusting to do when switching to the bass, but man listen to that, he really picked up on the bass really well, didn't he? I love Mike's drumming as well.

  • What a GREAT band! Pete has the lead guitar AND the mother tone. This "set of six" is fantastic, an incredible testiment of BADFINGER.

  • A masterpiece of music.

  • neat video!

I love this version of the song, too

    Badfinger rocks

  • Wow!

  • wow great video, glad i had the chance to view it! Missu/ONE
