  • I like your style.

I play gitar/pedal ect. with own way moving but like meet the other with something of meanless want share.

    thks.

  • Cool stuff man! Def digging it!

  • Man great riffs but you need a audio interface to the pick song dont appear.............

  • That's cool... nice guitar =D

  • Really useful, man. That's such a detailed lesson. Congrats!

  • verycoool..

  • Great lesson. I've had some lessons sent in past and it was a lot of stop and go talk and play. It became uninteresting. Your video flows well. Keep up the good work.

  • nice :]

  • Im playing since almost a year now.

some licks and tutorials were very helpful to me to get bette.

r thanks for all the good videos \m/

  • how many guitars do you have?

  • @henrique773 Currently 19. The Van Halen guitar and Guild in this video were lent to me by a pal though. The other are mine. I mostly collect old '80s pointy metal guitars. Awesome quality and usually cost very little \m/

  • So is Artificial Harmonics basiclly octaves of the note that you're playing? I'm new to this technique and I'm just trying to get a better understanding of it.

  • @ReneIsSoCool101Yes I believe so. \m/

  • @ShredGuitarAcademy Ok thank you for the reply! I just wanted to better understand the idea and concepts of Artificial Harmonics lol, I really like your lessons though and I hope to see more of them!

  • oohh god!! i thought that i was the only one playing with harmonics like that (for example I played just like that the friend of misery from metallica and other songs, i never had guitar lessons or internet lessons, all by myself) I didn t have connection to internet, so now I am happy that I see many people do that!! it s also nice when you do the bend, and after 12 frets kai make your guitar explodeee!! right :)) (with distortion)

  • You explain technique very well ! thanks.

  • hey man, great vids. are those blackstar amps in the back? what other amps do you use, any amp modeling software??

  • @yoxxilja They are 1980's Carvin X-60B's. In most of the videos I just use a little solid state practice amp. I'm currently using a Digi Eleven Rack for recording. I'd like to maybe get the new Axe Fx but it's out of my price range for now until I finish paying off other gear. All my current gear is listed on my channel page \m/

  • [̲̅♥̲̲̅̅n̲̲̅̅i̲̲̅̅c̲̲̅̅e̲̲̅̅♥̲̅]

  • wich sub-generes of metal do you like to play man?

  • @jfpbman Black and Death I guess \m/

  • Great demo. Good explanation. Thx.

  • IT'S NOT FAIR TO YOU GUYS "SHRED" GUITARS,,,

    YOU DESTROY THEM!! LOVE IT!

  • @MrJoeybigz we use all of the fret-board, silly pop 'guitarist' don't

  • Excellent. A clear and concise explanation. Now I understand harmonics. Will start practising as soon as I get home.

    Cheers.

  • Awesome ... thx 4 the friend invite. i think ur only my 2nd friend

  • Cool tut mate

  • very nice I will try this

  • I wanna learn the solo at the end.

  • This is badass. I am going to try it out.

  • @shredguitaracademy thank you for the stuff

  • i learnt some new stuff today! :)

hey what exactly do you mean by play safe and wear protection??

i didn't quite get it in this context..

  • fukin awesome B.C. Rich drako v

  • @bubywashere I think you are talking about my Lado. That's an '84 Lado Devil. \m/

  • @ShredGuitarAcademy

oh my fault sorry dude. \m/

  • @bubywashere Apology unnecessary \m/ They do look similar however this guitar predates the Draco by I think 20+ years. It was made by my all time favorite guitar maker Lado. There were only 48 made. This one is #2. \m/

  • @ShredGuitarAcademy

thank's dude, um i'm probably starting to become anoying but i was wandering do you have any arpeggio tapping lessons?

  • @bubywashere Just basic sweep stuff in the advanced section. Tapping stuff will come down the road at some point \m/

  • @ShredGuitarAcademy you have some weird guitars but cool a van halen one

  • I love the intro riff you were playing and also the harmonics sound a little like Welcome Home (Sanitarium) and Tornado of Souls intro with the harmonics

  • cool : )

  • Hot guitars!! Almost had a half-boner while looking at them :o

  • steve morse is also using this technique quite a lot! Great guitar player!

  • Finally i can play the intro to The Conjuring right haha.

  • THis is a great teaching tool! Great Illustrations and explanations of how to actually do this technique! I was always blown away by some of Atkins technique, or should I say knowledge! THat opening lead riff sounds awesome, it has a robotic futuristic sound,,really diggin that sound!

  • 1 person needs to learn to shut the fuck up!

  • Funny lesson! I do the plucking with my guitarpick and middlefinger, but I did pratice the thumb and indexfinger too.

  • Hey, great vid Mike... always learn something new from you.

But how would you do this with a pick in your hand?

  • @hyusama You would have to drop it into the other three fingers. \m/

  • You ALWAYS teach me something new! Keep these things comin', man, I'm pumped for the next part of this series :DD \m/

  • Dude this is really useful!! I've been playing six years and I've never explored this! btw What guitar are you playing for the majority of the lesson?

  • @ForestMan1129 wait I just saw the end haha never mind!

  • I found that helpful and interesting, and just to note, I thought the sound quality was fairly good. Some videos instructional or not, have such poor sound that it's nearly impossible to understand what they're saying. Thanks for the post, looking forward to the next one.

  • What's up with the different locking nuts? haha

  • Awesome lesson!

    Keep up the great work!

  • The outro is awesome!

  • WOMEN IN LOVE... ;D

  • Wow! This lesson is great. I actually learned something.

I'm anxiously waiting for the tapped harmonic lesson. :)

  • your piercing makes you look like your saying "subscribe or die"

  • cool vid, tho i would say that ppl dont invent things with musical instruments... they find them. (in my case stumble upon them ;) )

  • it´s like "The Conjuring" intro by megadeth

  • Nice video, great playin' mate.

  • Artificial Harmonics Part 1 - How To Phuck Artificial Harmonics.

    Nice.

  • a note sounding one way & then hearing the same note at a different pitch 12 frets above is called an OCTAVE....remember that word...OCTAVE

  • in Artificial harmonics, it's not about plucking, it's about the action that creates artificial harmonics...

  • Excellent instruction. Not a shredder, but still very useful... Jack

  • dude your a beast

  • i like the new intro!

  • @biochemisttriple9 Got a new video recorder with way better sound quality. \m/

  • did you cover that song on the end of the video? it is very nice, I would like to learn it

  • @racerx11080 It's from a demo for the solo album I am working on. I'll be putting together a lesson on it at some point. \m/

  • FRANKENSTRAT IN THE BEGGINNING POST A VID WITH IT :D

  • God i love your videos! you sir are one good guitar player and teacher!

    - keep rocking!

  • Nice video and playing ! It was enjoyable to watch. Thank you, for posting.

  • Chet Adkins certainly did popularize it.. and well... I think Tommy Emmanuel basically mastered it and turned it into magic.

    Great video.

  • new intro :D glad you're back man!

  • Excellent!
