  • @dycespotter

Yeh cause it takes 2 1/2 years to train as a tesco till boy. :-S

  • Awesome video! I wish these birds were still in service by other airlines...

  • Really lucky to be in the sweet MD-11 Awesome job! Well done! So seweet video... Rated 5/5 stars! Please sub back!

  • why do so many people clap upon landing, after all the pilots are doing their everyday job. i dont see people clapping in asda or tesco when the woman had finished scanning your items? lol

  • @dycespotter

In fact I wonder how many people have clapped for an autoland ;)

  • @bagagerat

    980 km/m groundspeed, are u crazy??

  • @thedayitriedtodie

According to my collegues I am ;-)

'Groundspeed' also refers to the speed of the airplane in relation to the ground while flying. The pilots work with the (indicated) airspeed, but on the inflight entertainment displays the speed in relation to the ground (the 'groundspeed') is displayed.

  • @thedayitriedtodie We flight at 1000 Km/h this summer Klm Ams to Delhi

  • @dycespotter People clap for pilots and not the lady scanning your groceries because: Lady scanning your groceries does not have hundreds of lives in her hands doing hundreds of miles per hour.

  • Very good video! People on youtube should make more videos like this one. You use a very good camera too! :)

    How was India?

  • The Runway 28 in Delhi is 3810 m long, and that is longer than Amsterdam. So don't call is short.

The new Runway 29 is 4430 m, some of the longest in the world.

  • Hi there,

    In case your comment is based on the phrase 'Short Final rwy 28' you're mistaking;

'Short final' in aviation terms refers to the time you're away from the runway you're approaching for landing; Meaning it's a Short time on the Final approach to go.

  • Oops! I meant "it" not "is" in the last line of first paragraph.

    I like the speed of 980 km/h.

  • Nice video. Glad you covered the whole trip.

    xx.

  • That quality is awesome!!

  • i was on the same flight last june
