I have NBA Live 10 and I can't even get the menus to work. The text is so small that it's almost unreadable...every button has changed from the last version I played. The Live series peaked with 07 and has generally been a mess for an entire decade.

nba live is great., but there is something missing in that game... commentators are boring too... they seems not excited. and the price is not worth buying it... it will just be there for a year and after that its not anymore fun to play...

2k on the ps3 is tight except for one fatal glitch that kills it for me....if your down 2 at the end of a game and you need to foul when you do in fact call and intentional foul no foul is called the guy just drops the ball and the other team is free to pick it up and go score....trash

well i bout 2k when it came out, and my neighbor comes over and he has live and we compared em. honestly if your looking for the closest thing to the nba then 2k is for you. IMO i think 2K is WAY better. its more realistic,fluid,and just feels like your actually playing an nba game. live is horrible to me. the only thing i love about live,is their sig. shots. they have most of them down perfectly.
i agree that 2k is better this year, especially the way the players actually move compared to 2k9. i've had 2k games for all 10 years but always give live a shot, i dont know why they just dont do it for me.

This looks awful even compared to NBA 2K9, the animations are bad and you have that sensation that the players doesn't impact each other. Look also to the king facing the celtics, the four guys not envolved with the play just look identical concerning the movements. Don't buy EASports shit, they don't care about good costumer.

EA should just give up basketball. They got football (Madden) and boxing (fight night) down to the science. But for some reason, they always "hit and miss" every year with nba live. They always recycle their shit. They need to go back to the drawing board.
Competition is always a good thing. EA needs to continue to polish their games. Side track comment response, but EA does NOT have Madden down to a science. I've played it and have seen plenty of youtube Madden gameplay footage issues that still requires work.
Personally looking forward to seeing how 2k10 and Live 10 turns out.

2K9 was not the best basketball game ever. That would have to be 2K8. 2K9 was just more of the same with little improvement. I got bored after a few weeks. Waste of money. Each year, Live makes nice improvements because they swing for the homerun. 2K has become satisfied with just making it to one base at a time. Considering how far ahead they were in 2K7, I can see why but slowly, Live has been creeping closer....I've guessed that Live 2012 will be they're break.

EA should just give up basketball. They got football (Madden) and boxing (fight night) down to the science. But for some reason, they always "hit and miss" every year with nba live. They always recycle their shit. They need to go back to the drawing board.

Competition is always a good thing. EA needs to continue to polish their games. Side track comment response, but EA does NOT have Madden down to a science. I've played it and have seen plenty of youtube Madden gameplay footage issues that still requires work.
Personally looking forward to seeing how 2k10 and Live 10 turns out.

Relax dude it's not that serious! why do you care who buy which game? If ur happy with 2k then that's all that matters.Both game have their flaws.And you're on here calling people dumb-asses but then making asinine statements by saying that 2k10 cost $100 and that's simply not true.I'll proly buy 2ksports because I'm more into graphics but NBA Live is back.I'm going to wait till both game come out and rent them and then determine which one I will buy that's how much Live has up their ante!

Ive been playing 2ksports over NBA Live for the last 3 years because they have produced a better product. 2ksports hasn't put out any trailers and the game is coming out in less than 4 weeks.NBA Live is flaunting their product to the world right now and still has more trailers to be released.First the first time in over a decade I might cop NBALive. Yeah the player details aren't as sharp as 2ksports but 2kpsorpts still has glitches.Go check the Draftcombine.This game moves more effortlessly.

None of the moves were in the game? You must never played Live and are just blowing smoke? lol I own 2k9 and it was the best basketball game ever! But Nba live2010 from the trailers i've seen is on a completely different level in terms of game play. Are you not lookig at this trailer? 2k9's game play wasn't that smooth.All i'm saying is the spotlight is on 2ksports now. Live look's amazing.The 2ksports draft combine is dissappointing to me as a fan that has bought the game over Live for years!

2K9 was not the best basketball game ever. That would have to be 2K8. 2K9 was just more of the same with little improvement. I got bored after a few weeks. Waste of money. Each year, Live makes nice improvements because they swing for the homerun. 2K has become satisfied with just making it to one base at a time. Considering how far ahead they were in 2K7, I can see why but slowly, Live has been creeping closer....I've guessed that Live 2012 will be they're break.

Yes I know there is one of 2k sports desingers made this game,but they also copied NBA 2k in 09.But,no matter,Live is also a great game and I love All star games and FIBA world championships in Live,because they are magnificent,but I will buy NBA 2K simply because I have only PC(but I played Live 09)so thats the clear

But didn't 2k copy live by adding the 3point contest and th dunk contest? Live has been out longer and 2k got their blueprint and ran with it and has been making a better game but I imagine in 2011 NBA Live will be back on top because the game play as far as dribbling and shooting is on a level surpassed 2k10 whereas 2k10 has better graphic but Live has more features!

Ohhh cmon man have you EVER played 2k sports dunk contest?Its not even close to EAs!its because Dunk Contest in 2k is playing on the streets,while in EA its in the arena.Also,moves are completely changed,even the atmosphere is better than Live.And you cannot say which will be better when both games didnt came out but belive be,same was for 09,same will be for 10.

Wow live is always talking about making changes, Why dont they make the charachters look different, they look so pixalated and stuff, Trust me i was an NBA Live fan. I had NBA live 99 02 04 06 and 07 it was cool till 07 came then things went down hill from there. 2k9 was my first 2k game and i must say wow. 2k10 is gonna win and its just going to crush Live.
