What's amazing to me is that there has never been a recorded incident of an Orca killing a human in the wild. Now, if you put the lord of the seven seas in a swimming pool for the amusement of a bunch of talking monkeys, then it has every right to drown your ass.
I remember seeing a video where the Orcas were taking the sea lions from the beach and taking them out and throwing them through the air and eating them but for some reason the last one they took back to the beach and let it go. I guess they only kill what they need to eat and don't want to waste anything lol. Really have to love Orcas, power, brains, beautiful animals and strong family bonds.
@indridcold177 they seem to have better morals than us (at least the NRA folk)...they don't necessary kill another animal who is weaker than themselves. And without a "holy book" LOL.

Actually they do eat the seal. I watched the whole video on the Animal Channel last night, they let the seal back onto the ice so the two calves could join in and train in this kind of attack. It was to train them and as a reward the two calves got to eat the seal.

Global warming does exist, however humans did not cause it. This earth has gone through periods of warming and cooling before and this is a result of the sun getting warmer and cooler. We can look at Mars as an example. The glaciers on Mars are melting as well. Don't buy into this save the planet crap because we cannot stop the sun from doing what it wants to do.

That is why i think commentary like the one in the clip, shows extremly little understanding.
The world and all the living creatures in it are far more complex and deserves a lot more understanding than what an average commentator can offer.

to be a mammal you also need to have mammay glands (hence, mammal). Mammary glands are used to breast feed your babied, and that´s exactly what killer whales do and Sharks don´t.

Why is it a "happy ending" when the seal goes free? Does it matter? Is it a "happy ending" when a cow isn't chosen to go to the slaughter house and become the next Big Mac?
I hate how media puts "morality labels" on everything. Whether or not the seal is a meal is irrelevant; it's the way of life, and the orcas have to eat too.
