Do the soldiers have adequate body armor under Obama?
Are they getting new&improved VA benefits under Obama?
Are there any violations of our constitutional rights, such as unwarranted wire taps, going on under Obama?
Transparency? Full Disclosure? Any damn campaign promises being fulfilled under Obama beyond this US AutoMaker scheme where the law will require "green cars" and the US car companies will be the main source for such cars... meanwhile, the gov't owns 65% of GM!?! WTF??? ^_^
Why does it matter? He's allowed to have his own opinions and isn't that what the constitution and the flag are supposed to represent. I find it quite rude to hold your hand over your heart; noöne else does it and it looks slightly stupid. Patriotism is a flawed concept, it makes no sense to support a country just because you were randomly born there.
Most American wars have not been supported by a majority of the public yet they still did not burn the flag or disrespect their country. Why is modern democrats look for the first excuse to abandon their American identity.
How a person dresses reflects the personal choices that they make about how they are going to interact with the world around them while they are whereing the chosen attire. A person who wears a power suit to the office is saying he is the most powerful person in the room and office. It might seem benign but our dress communicates to others around us. Which makes me wonder what kind of message Obama was sending when he routinely chooses not to wear patriotic attire.
Barack Obama = the black father from Kenya ( not US citizen ) + the white mother from Kansas => who know what's in his heart !? the " FATHER LAND " flag or the " MOTHERLAND " flag ?????? . BUT look at his behaviour , are we can tell ?????????????
There is a vast gulf between Patriotism and Nationalism. Obama is a Patriot. McCain is a Nationalist. Nationalism wants conformity; it wants the nation to walk in lockstep with a certain kind of group-think. Everyone has to wear a flag on their lapel and make a public display of nationalism. Everyone has to obey.
It's funny that you should compare McCain to Obama when you talk about patriotism by making that misleading comparison between nationalsim and patriotism.
If there is one candidate who understands that tgerm fully, it's McCain.
I disagree with him on some issues, but come freaking on...give credit where credit's due.
regelemihai: Mccain is no patriot. Someone who will continue the bush policies of borrowing money from China to pay for wars in the middle east making this country slaves to asians is no patriot. A patriot is someone who loves their country and won't tarnish its name around the world. A patriot wants people to see the red, white, and blue and see it as a symbol of freedom, not war.
It is not the ongoing trade with china i'm talking about. It is the selling of T-bills to china so that the republican party doesn't have to raise taxes to pay for the war. Republicans and mccain often say they oppose democrats raising taxes, but they are raising them in the worst way; by borrowing. The chinese will ask for their money back and where do you think are taxes will be: high. Trade is one part, financials are another. The republicans today are not conservatives at all.
I didn't say obama is more patriotic, but mccain is not patriotic AT ALL. he is a power hungry war freak who wants to make a name for himself. He wants to spend trillions on more wars with Iraq, afgan, and possibly Iran. I can't believe the american people are dumb enough to actually consider a bush-like figure AGAIN!! look at our economy now. What will happen with trillions more in debt to the chinese. Wake up!!!
not to mention bush's unfair FTA with korea who wants to only sell to the US but buy nothing from the US. Obama said he will at least look into these FATA's and try to make them more fair; that is more than what mccain said which was "i don't know much about the economy." Mccain will go party-line and accept the unfair trade policies of the koreans. At least americans workers might have a chance with obama.
IF HE WAS BORN IN VIRGINIA, AND VIRGINIA IS NOW PART OF THE US, IT MUST HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY, EVEN DECADES BEFORE THE CONCEPT OF THE UNITED STATES EXISTED! BAM! LOGIC!
I can't wait til they replace one of those losers on MSNBC (Tucker, Tweety...) with Rachel Maddow! It would help their middle school boys misogyny label.
This clown gets more hits on Youtube than he has veiwers.

A patriot is someone who, while facing death, does not betray his country and continues to fight for it to his last breath.
Not a good looking politician with little or no experience as a senator.
Masking the truth with a bunch of weasle words is easy.
Like I said, I don't agree 100% with McCain's standpoints, but be serious.
and BTW, could we please stop with the asinine and infantile habit of rating ppls comments down?
Be respectful.

regelemihai: So, i guess you support selling our country to the chinese. I can't do that, myself, but maybe you don't have a problem with it.
burger1376 3 years ago
I said I don't support his policies 100% that includes the ongoing trade with the Chinese (which is kinda' inevitable as it is).
Between that and claiming that Obama is more patriotic, there is a huge gap.

Desperate fear mongering Bush/Cheney tactics.
Hillary knows she will lose... Unless she and her supporters can turn it around by using fear and racism in the next few weeks.
Keep watching.
