I'm sure I'm not the only one who's realized this, but this song has a surprisingly dark undertone. The advice comes from a man who presumably passes away in his sleep shortly after taking the last swig of another man's whiskey bottle. i don't know about you, but I'd be rather nervous sitting in a room of a train car with a man who just died for no discernible reason.

He asked for the last drink of Whisky since im guessing he could feel himself fading and well, most people would like a last drink. Being on a train to nowhere does not mean he was bankrupt either, Nowhere can mean alot of things and in my opinion he was probably trying to get away for his final moments
