Dunno if the guy holding the camera is also owner of this rx8,but if yes,you propably dont know much about wankel engine..Its not good at all to start the engine and turn it off without driving and warming it up!!!!Simply said the gauge needle showing temperature must be in middle of temperature range..Of course you can do it like this but dont be suprised if you find out after 50 000km that your engine doesnt have compression...

This car is a well built car. So what if its a rotary engine....it still pulls 232 stock.... which is more than most 4 cylinders. And if u actually look under the hood, there is soo much room to modify it. And in my personal opinion, i would love to drive this. I would give up my chevy cobalt ss for this anytime of the week. And btw rotaryis, research ur cars before bashing them :D

@circaguy123 Imo mazdaspeed3 is overrated, its got 350hp with a turbo, and its FWD. Ide rather have a RWD that is 232 hp stock w/o a turbo and drop one that that will boost it by at least 100hp. And i prefer the old model of the MS3, the new one's back is nice, the front...not so much, the only plus is the scoop.

I have a late 2006 RX8 GT, I bought it 6 months ago, it had 24000 k. on it and I negotiated a full 3 year extended warranty. My car is loaded, no other options required and I've had a few great cars in my 45 years of driving but this machine is the best car I have ever owned.

I put 1500 km. on it in the past couple of days, performance was brilliant and best of all it has comfort plus for me anyway when driving long distances. I pushed it up to 213 kph on a quiet stretch of highway, awesome !!

Rx8 also has a deep redline at 9500. with 238 bhp. The s2000 does have some advantage though with being smaller, but both are great cars. I love my rx8 and wouldnt trade it for any car. well, a ferrari, buggati, or Lambo I would make a exception. :^)

@LADYGaGaMONSTER1984 well this car will need to be carefully taken care of. because its a rotary engine it needs to be warmed before driving. its more like a long distance type of car. its not the most fuel efficient car either. its small things which you shouldn't have a problem with just be ready to have a car with a lil more maintenance than others but her, this is one of the most gorgeous cars ihave seen. iwish to own one someday, good luck

a little word of advice to you and anyone else who owns this car... when you start the car, dont turn it off right away, wait until the engine temp is half way or else you'll burn the oil and flood the engine. also, when you turn off your car, make sure to rev it up to 4k and immediately shuttin down to flush all oil out of the rotory. or else you'll have engine problems in no time!
