Use a wet saw to do this, the score and snap method will only work if you have a very sharp wheel blade, I do not recommend this method do to the fact that you will dull your blade very quickly resulting in shearing.
i dont get it ? does oiling the cutting wheel make the cutting and break process work better ? how do you get it to break with a clean straight edge so that the glass doesnt shear ?

also. what are you resurfacing the sharp edge with ? what kind of stone is it ?
