  • Sad & Beautiful, remains of breaking up with someone you love.. but that's life : )

  • wwowowww i have been listening to bent for a while but am disapointed i didnt come accross this song sooner

  • gorgeous as always :)

  • this is just genius, i've been blasting it all summer. so beautiful. and that bassline...

  • Such a great tune, this song makes you want to put your volume way up.

  • i think i've added 100 views in the past few weeks.

    love this

  • SweeeeeeeT!!!

  • Amazing :) Bent are quickly becoming one of my favourite Downtempo groups. "Private Road" is my fave from them so far :)

  • Very nice tune=)

  • I have to say this is the most unique kind of music I have heard in a long time. Its like Trance, smooth jazz, easy listening all mashed up into one thing.

Anyone know what kind of genre of music this is? I would love to hear more like it.

  • @wardog3d Id consider it "chill" music, Bent is one of my all time favorites, you might also like groove armada, my bloody valentine, cocteau twins, tosca, etc.

  • @wardog3d

Amazon has it rated on the following charts:

    Music > Alternative Rock > Indie & Lo-Fi > Ambient Pop

Music > Miscellaneous > Experimental Music

    Music > Dance & Electronic > Ambient

I was curious as to the genre as well, I would have said it's more along the line of "Chill" than ambient pop, but I'm no music connoisseur...

  • @83joonior Thx for your reply "ambient pop" I suppose music this unique doesn't deserve labels.. but if I had to give it anything logical that sounds like the one its closest to. Maybe "Ambient Chill"?

I haven't heard this track in many months since my comment.. wow I forgot what i was missing. This track is just amazing. Not to sound goofy as a grown man, but it almost makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Not a lot that can do that to me on this round blue ball but this music does.

  • @wardog3d The one thing I think about any time I here this song is that I want other people to hear it! I want so badly to find someone who enjoys mainstream music, have them hear this song, and enjoy it as much I do! I know that will never happen, but I can dream :--/

  • @83joonior I know where you are coming from.. heck to a large degree i enjoy "some" main stream music. However, you (the listener) definitely have to mentally get to a place to be musically open minded. When i was a lil kid I wouldn't have listened to this music if you paid me probably. Now I love exotic, peaceful and creative music of all types. I know people my age who also love many forms of music who still wouldn't listen to this. All I can is.. "It's their loss, but not mine!" :)

  • i had this track on a free cd i got with some mag years and years ago ...bye some chance ive been re-united with it and now am a massive bent fan

  • from the first few beats i knew id found something very special

  • I'm outwardly calm, apparently normal, quick to smile, and slow to peak.

But I have a little quirk, a pattern, so to speak.

    I rarely if ever hold a job, I never finish my work;

I'm an affable kind of a slob, a highly disorganized, placid sort of a jerk

Check this lady out - she has a video here

  • can't thank you enough for this!

  • i've been looking for this for ages...thank you!

  • God. That first part with the female vocals. Love it.

  • Why don't I love you like I used to do oh baby...

    So chilled

  • I had this song on a compilation called "music for dreams" and it was the best one on it. I always wondered why I didn't hear more of them. I just remembered this song tonight, and it's so great! I'll check out more of their stuff on youtube, thanks for posting!

  • This is one of my favorite songs ever. Bent is so overlooked that it makes me sad sometimes. All of their albums are great, especially this one, which I believe was called 'Programmed to Love'. This is track three. I could listen to it a hundred thousand times without getting sick of it. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Love it. Touch the monkey.
