there is also 2 'blair witch style' zombie films. you have Diary of the Dead by George A Romero and there is also a British one called Zombie Diaries (which in my opinion is actually better then George's as it seems more 'realistic' and less hollywood style lol) but try both they are still good films.

It might be hinted that it's cold war weapons, or satellites, a virus, a curse... but that's not the point of the movie. Classic zombie movies are about survivalism.
