I'm mainly into RC airplanes (nitro and electric) and I can definitely say that my good old DX7 (original version) that I got the month it was released is holding up beautifully. Love their equipment.
@djmedic2008 im thinking of getting the savage xs, i saw one other person from your videos has on and im just wondering how it is and one cheap batteries and charger i can get from pm hobby
tip for flying the 120sr if you have trim the helicopter right you can let it hover whit no hands on the remote the trick to trim it right it whit a full charge lipo !
fly these things all the time I love them, to much fun when its cold out in my local high school gym.I do take them to the park when the wind is rite they haul azz for there size! Go to nightflyers channel he has great info there to teach you how to fly heli's and even some vids on how to practice correctly.
@76velli When the Blade 450 X comes out I think there might have to be a video on that one as well. It's not like I can fly it well but I will try to hook up with Medic for that one as well. In the last three weeks I have purchased 3 heli's, the mQx in the video, an mCPx, and a 120 SR. The 450 X just might be next.
@scottmisfits I've been flying mCX2, mSR about half a year and now 450 3D about three months and I'm loving it! :-) I'm really interested in 450 X as well.
i think i'll stay on the ground!!! haha a couple friends of mine fly planes and heli's and new years i went over to a friends house to do some crawling and he whipped out his laptop and the flight simulator called "realflight simulator 4" and i played with that for quite a while.. been tempted to buy it for my laptop but we'll see... haha
TBH, im not a plane guy, so i dont see any point in watching a plane video, or maybe i will watch and like it cause its a video from medic. yeah, thats a good idea. :)) i will not get into planes hopefully though :P
@T00FAST89 Most of these guys flying in Medic's recent video's are fairly new to the flying scene, myself included. The 120 SR is easier to fly than the mCPx so don't get discouraged learning how to fly with that thing.
I got he heli bug real bad during the holidays and bought the 120 sr, Mcx, Mcpx, Msrx. and then Mqx. A few tips for you guys on the 120 sr. when you crash watch out for the bearing that's in the tail rotor blade it tends to pop out you can do a mod with heat shrink to protect it a few guys have it on you tube. Tighten the main rotor blades a bit they should not be so loose.Factory flaw. Loose makes it start off wobbly. They should not be super tight either just a bit to give some play Take care
i to have the blade 120 sr. i got mine from hobby proz in new mexico. i got mine in august for my birthday. ive replaced alot of parts. my heli is a little banged up. i would recomend to fly inside a do some simulators before you fly.
Very nice. That DX8 looks just confusing to be honest hahahaha. Love watching people learning how to do anything RC for the first time. Its the best for sure. Thanks bud for this video today.
@Dribble83 In all honesty, it looks more intimidating than it is. For these heli's there really isn't much to set up at all. I have set up throttle hold and set up dual rates and exponential. Very easy to do.
@djmedic2008 lol just like my facebook post yesterday :) jeff zotter btw. I love to see you trying out all aspects of rc, really cool. Keep up the good work dude!
this is the same heli i would get. not because i've seen this video. small enough to fly inside and strong and pwerful enough to fly outside. sweet flying guys. and medic.
@Locoracers Im working on it bro.. Diversity is key in making a Youtube channel successful. Can you imagine its been 3 Years I have been doing this? Wow

If no one new this the transmitters intenna points up not forward
Bigpoppa881 3 weeks ago
@Bigpoppa881 Or off to the side.. like the thumbnail..
djmedic2008 3 weeks ago
@Bigpoppa881
The tip of a 2.4ghz antenna is the weakest area in transmition.
having the antenna facing up or forward is the worst angle you could point it at, since
up or forward is lokely to be where your plane is.
the Antenna should always be @ 90 deg to your plane for strongest signal.
A few minutes on google will prove it.
