Hey, I saw you guys in Des Moines last night... It was great, so much raw energy... Probably the best drumming I've ever seen live. You had some big shoes to fill, but hell, you did it. I will never understand the Sugar Skull break... It eludes my analytical capacity. Keep up the insanity... Hopefully you'll get to lay down the tracks for the next CD. If so, I can't wait to hear what you think up. Also, I've never heard an opening band receive such a violent "One more song" chant...Lol

Thanks man, I currently have a gretsch renown maple fusion shell pack from gretsch, the tom's all have ec2's and the bass drum has an emad 2 series head (tape on the outside dampeners, because they do fall off! lol)

those last fills you do at the end of the song, are you using double bass along with single stroke rolls around the toms? i've been trying forever to down rolls like that, dunno if its cause my hands aren't fast enough or if its because i don't use double bass

no double bass in this song, just single, It's just loose phrasing at the end. You'll get it, I know it. I just get out of the musical side every once in a while and just find some chop that I can fit into the vocabulary, then proceed to put it into everything I play. lol
