@henriettajonas You are completely right, I think the problem that Korn had with Welch leaving particularly Munky was the way he left. You know he pretty much just left cold turkey without telling them what was going on and they tried to contact him and he didn't return any calls or talk to them about what he was doing. Of course Munky took this the hardest because they were the closest. Other than that I don't think they have a problem with his reasoning on why he left.

So, in essence, yes, people DO make the choice to get addicted, by doing the drug in the first place. That's why I never even tried Meth, I knew I would get addicted. I knew I would get addicted when I started smoking cigarettes, I just didn't care. The same is true for drugs.
