If God is an impersonal force then he STILL may not be controlled. Same as with electricity. And by the way, why use such limiting labels as personal and impersonal? God is obviously neither personal - not like we are, with our limitations, desires and so forth, and neither is he purelly impersonal - a "Big Dumb Object". Reincarnation of course allows forgiveness from God if you equate Karma with Sin. Forgiveness removes Karma. Problem solved. And those who try to attone themselves are very much akin to "jewish yogis" of the Old Testament who sacrificed animals for their karma, or sins. It actually makes a much more sense then one-life-and-Hell. Infinite punishment for finite crimes. Actually, as far as I know it, sin is greek is harmateia. It sounds quite similar to Karma.

@johnaursula Whatever the followers of jesus say, it all is the same that you are saying. But itt's hard to take them at face value & believe that they are speaking the truth, for their actions tell a totally different story. That has been the case I've heard, & read, ever since the inception of christianity. I can't say about that, but that's what I have seen for a good part of half a century, & have seen it intensify.

When was the last time Christians performed a terrorist operation in Mumbai? And, where is your criticism of the Bhagavad Gita, a book full of violence and support for a caste system that still causes immense suffering to people termed "untouchable?" @aparaajita10 Indeed, I have read the B.G., along with other Hindu texts. I am grateful for Hinduism's contribution to spirituality, especially vegetarianism. My problem is with attributing human evil to the benign teachings of Jesus. There are violent Hindus. Should we attribute this to Vaishnavism, since Krishna justifies killing as part of his atman teaching? No. So let's be fair. As for conversion, no one is forced. I became Christian on my own, after reading the gospel. Peace.

Salvation is a process, and one cannot be "saved" once and for all. All of us have known those who have claimed to be "born again," who later fall away from faith. Conversion is something one does every day. Scripture says to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. It is all a gift of God, and one cooperates, but does not initiate.

God is beyond all human conceptualization. Our knowledge of God is sure, but limited. This guy should have studied authentic Christian mysticism.

If you have read the Bible you would know who wrote it rather than just saying"written by someone". Secondly if you have read the Bible you would not had said "after he was dead". May be you missed the passages where HE talks about peace, love, sacrifice, eternal life etc. Amazed that you know me and my leader.
