Dude if you seriously think PC graphics are not that much different than the 360/PS3 you show how ignorant you are. I am playing the 360 and PC beta, and their is a huge difference. The 360 version looks fine, but the PC actually looks next gen. I am still getting it on the 360 and PC, but it sounds like your delusional.

I have still played more on the 360 because most of my friends are on their. It does look light years better on a high end PC. It has to be seen to be believed.

One thing that I'd like everyone to consider: When you compare a console to a pc, you don't have to compare the ENTIRE pc to the console. To get a regular pc, you'll pay anywhere from 300-600 dollars (if you shop like me), and then you can get a console for an extra 150-300 dollars. that's 450-900 dollars. To get a gaming pc, you can pay as little as 700 dollars, because, face it, you need a computer in this day & age, and it's easier to upgrade it to make it capable of gaming.

The only reason people say pc does not look that good is because nowadays 70% of the games are always dumbed down for the 6 year old hardware (consoles).
PC compared to PS3 is the same when it comes to graphics, but PC compared to Xbox, the PC destroys. Xbox even though is created by Microsoft really falls short if compared to PC. I guess Bill Gates just never knew what he was going into when deciding to comptete with Sony Entertainment.
Playing on PC is an other world, not just because of the graphics, but also the gameplay is different ( mouse/keyboard vs controller ). I used to play consoles, but now i have a PC and i'll never go back.
umm i played cod primarily and going from 60 fps to 30 fps on bfbc2 was barely noticeable, unless you're actually looking for it just to complain. With the destruction and vehicles everywhere, your eyes forget about things like frames per second. Tbh I didn't even know bc2 was 30 fps until i read a cod fangirl make a comment about it. So basically anyone concerned about the 30 fps, don't listen 19hr94, it's nowhere near choppy and feeling like lag. BF3 graphics will more than make up for 30 FPS

@HeadSHOT604 The MEC weren't in BC2, but there were some references to them in the idle comments in the campaign, but those are randomly assigned, so it'd be hard to find them.
I agree but i think there shouldnt be a new battlefield until a new console comes out due to the old tech running in the consoles. Have you seen the ps3 game play yet? total rubbish compared to pc. It will run no wear near to the pc.

$700 for a proper gaming PC? Last I checked, good quad core CPU's will run around $300 easy. A GPU that will run Battlefield 3 should at the 'very' least run $200. So even if we discard a case, are we going to get a good HDD, motherboard, RAM, power supply, and fans (at the minimum) for $200? Not if you want anything worth a damn. I guess you do it if you're just going to overclock everything immediately.
PC has the hardware to make graphics miles better than consoles but developers wouldn't do that, they all seem to want to make them look almost the same on consoles and on PC.
Question: By open beta, does that mean that people who did NOT pre-order BF3 or bought MoH Limited Edition will be able to play it and the guys who did pre-order and/or got MoH LE will just get it earlier or only the people who pre-ordered and/ or got MoH will get the beta. I am asking because I can't pre-order and I don't have MoH at all, but I want to play the beta in order to see if my PC can run it. Please, someone reply.
I love Battlefield so much i've been playing it since 1942 and when I watched the MW3 Trailer for it I was so pissed off that they were aloud to put A-10's in Call of Duty I think Fairchild Republic should Sue who ever the fuck make's call of duty. @luvaproer207 Indeed. When I said the 'explosions', I also meant the fire and stuff like that. It's all pixxelated on Call of Duty, whereas on Battlefield it's fine tuned.
PC graphics can be better then the console graphics but has a drawback, unlike consoles a PC requires processing power and lots of it and running with high graphics can slow the computer and possible even causing it to crash...either theres a risk with good graphics.
I actually never know if u do good in your games! U could be uploading complete garbage of a game and commentate over it and I wouldn't notice :P ur so interesting!

Well, guys we have to thanks call of duty for creating this. Most of you hate cod, but you should love it. Because one of the laws in economy is that the competitions makes better products. If cod wouldn't exist, this game would be alredy the numer 1 or numbet 2 most played game. When a game has that power it has no need to grow and make better games. Im selfish and i hope cod sell more so we can enjoy awesome games like this more often
@ushuaia213 well counterstrike kinda started the succes of alot of fps its still the most popular fps out there even more than cod(cod in second place) for 1 the snd game mode gun game tdm etc.. all came from counterstrike and counterstriek wouldnt have happened without halflife because cs started out as a halflife mod so its a pretty long story
Consoles on the other hand, are more affordable and easier to use. You don't have to worry about the game crashing. You don't have to worry about the hardware stuff. All you need to do is to turn on your TV and console and insert the disc and voila, you have what you want.
PCs can achieve better graphics due to the fact that the hardware keeps advancing with time. They are also highly versatile in terms of controls. You can opt for the usual keyboard-mouse setting or you can get a joystick or even a racing wheel. As far as I know, consoles don't have keyboards. PC games can also be modified which is why there's still a lot of excitement there. Because of this, Machinimas can be made as you can disable the stuff you don't want.

Where as new GPU's and CPU's are released for PC.

I love Battlefield so much i've been playing it since 1942 and when I watched the MW3 Trailer for it I was so pissed off that they were aloud to put A-10's in Call of Duty I think Fairchild Republic should Sue who ever the fuck make's call of duty. Little kids wont understand the A-10 so go use a Chinese or some Russian jet. but don't use an A-10.

@octoxEpicDuels I'm a pc gamer because I don't like 6 year old consoles and old hardware holding back my gameplay experience with their outdated graphics and technology. We could have space age graphics by now, but developers design games with outdated tech for all the kids who have consoles. I salute DICE for pushing the limit. All games should be made for PC with the latest technology and downgraded/ported to consoles.

@BlowMeeeeeeeeeee i already said it , about more then 85% of gamers play on console because its more comfortable to alot of them including me just fell weird playing on a keyboard and even though the graphics are good but their not THAT much better then console their better but not by much so its just WAY easier to play on a controller and just feels right and also i know you can plug a controller in through usb but people enjoy playing on there 60 inch HD tv's !

PC graphics can be better then the console graphics but has a drawback, unlike consoles a PC requires processing power and lots of it and running with high graphics can slow the computer and possible even causing it to crash...either theres a risk with good graphics.

@LiLWiZARDz i also have a lot of games, but i think mw3 is going to be the best sellig game ever ass it always is, but there are always mager flaws in in it. i therfore think that bf3 is going to be a better game, because of the new frostbite engine and skyrim also has a new engine. oblivion won the game if the year in 2006 and i thin skyrim is going to get the title this year as well:) just my opinion

Well, guys we have to thanks call of duty for creating this. Most of you hate cod, but you should love it. Because one of the laws in economy is that the competitions makes better products. If cod wouldn't exist, this game would be alredy the numer 1 or numbet 2 most played game. When a game has that power it has no need to grow and make better games. Im selfish and i hope cod sell more so we can enjoy awesome games like this more often

@ushuaia213 well counterstrike kinda started the succes of alot of fps its still the most popular fps out there even more than cod(cod in second place) for 1 the snd game mode gun game tdm etc.. all came from counterstrike and counterstriek wouldnt have happened without halflife because cs started out as a halflife mod so its a pretty long story

Consoles on the other hand, are more affordable and easier to use. You don't have to worry about the game crashing. You don't have to worry about the hardware stuff. All you need to do is to turn on your TV and console and insert the disc and voila, you have what you want.

PCs can achieve better graphics due to the fact that the hardware keeps advancing with time. They are also highly versatile in terms of controls. You can opt for the usual keyboard-mouse setting or you can get a joystick or even a racing wheel. As far as I know, consoles don't have keyboards. PC games can also be modified which is why there's still a lot of excitement there. Because of this, Machinimas can be made as you can disable the stuff you don't want.
