I love it, I listened to it on the way here, I bought it with a now maxed out (and 8 months overdue) credit card. Eventually, I will put the rest of the album on there, but I've been a bit busy. I have the digipak version, had to get it, the awesomeness lasts longer.

I have to say, Fear Factory has to be one of the most underrated bands in the world, if not the most. I don't think I've quite heard a band tell a story like they have.

me neither, I love the concept. The story's science fiction, but I guess you could make it out to be political (man V. Machine, you're in a police state, all your freedom is disappearing). I suggested, that, Obsolete should be made into a movie, I got alot of praise for it. Honestly, I think it should be. And you are right, they are underrated. Obsolete is their best selling album, and it's only sold 500,000 copies since the year it came out. Their recent work has sold less.

Yes, I agree whole heartedly. I really do have this blasting in my vehicle, but I think the only reason I really like it is because of the different voices used for say Securitron (Where the words, "This is a warning so you must take heed..." appear) and Descent, back to back but totally different, love them both. PS. The Digipak is awesome, I have all of those songs but just the original Obsolete. 0-0 Where Evil Dwells is my favorite.

yeah, I love the whold Album. I think they made a great move using Gary Numan's voice for the begining of Obsolete, as well as the fact that he is feautured in a cover of his own song. Honestly, when I think of machines, I think of Gary Numan
