It's funny how I got a flagship model LG Plasma that was THX certified for picture and the THX specific mode is absolutely horrid and easily the worst factory preset. It makes the whole thing look like like a dim greenish sepia blurred western movie. Then after some calibrating it looks gorgeous.

Omg for the longest time I thought brightness did brightness so I always turned it up but now that turn up contrast and turned brightness down to 50% the blacks look good and the screen is bright because of the contrast weird

Cuz it looked soo ugly in in 85 n 20

HEY anyone else have a problem where the image isn't as smooth as it should be and there are some pixels that just won't line up with image? It seems that sometimes it looks 'crunchy'.

i got a Emerson 32 lcd 720p hdtv i was asking different people about there tv causes i notices when i see a image on my screen the edges of the picture seem to move... especially on games like when i play a first person shooter game i see the gun edges.. n seem too bright it sort of looks like flickering black n white line everything looks great! but the edges looks wierd...... If u got a tip for me to reduce the wierd edges on the picture or tell me to get a better tv ill do it lol XD

Great, answered a lot of questions, and the THX is the way I'll go, $4 rental instead of $30 for a calibration disk. Could you guys do a break in show where you tell people how to break in their plasma, from minute one, to the suggested 100-200 hours of break in time, I've been going crazy trying to find definitive answers to these questions, because from what I understand, you should crank back the brightness and contrast levels to well below the THX recommendations for the first 100-200 hours.
